Her grandfather was an exerciser of Saddlebreds and Standardbreds. Following in his footsteps Hillary was instantly drawn to continuing her education with this majestic creature. Hillary has shown horses and trained riders to numerous championships from coast to coast . Hillary specializes in one on one coaching, for individual horse and riders needs. Whether it be a green horse, a novice rider, o

r fine tuning the elite, Hillary's knowledge and experience, along with her love and love for horse and rider is what allows her to be in demand in the local area. With over 33 years of riding experience it gives her the unique ability to individualize programs for both horse and rider. She enjoys working with restarting Ottbs. "Thoroughbreds do not get the credit that is truly due to the breed .Most horses only have 1 lifetime career let alone 2 or 3". Hillary then moved to warmer climates in 1998 to San Antonio,Texas. She was given an opportunity to ride under the tutelage of hall of fame show jumper inductee and two time Olympian John Russell. He emphasized on correct equitation, effectiveness with an European flare. From there Hillary spent time with Jeff cook published equine author and successful clinician. In 2007 Hillary worked with Charles McDaniels to help her appreciate the jumper horse and jumper ring. His classic training methods and sound horsemanship continues to help Hillary produce winning horse and rider combinations. Hillary is also an accredited 4-h judge through the Cornell Cooperative extension.
