Last but not certainly not least for Pet Appreciation Week are Bailey and Bandit!
Bailey will be 15 in August! 🎂
She loves going for rides in the car, going for long walks on the beach 🐾 and she loves eating anything and everything (except lettuce) 😂

Bandit will be 17 next month! 🎂 He's the sweetest cat ever. He welcomes anyone who walks in our door and just wants to be loved and rubbed 24/7. His "guilty pleasure" is Cheez Its! When he smells them, he insists on getting at least one 😂

It's Thursday which means another day of Pet Appreciation Week! Up next is Baxter! He turned 10 years old in December. He was found as a stray puppy down south. His family adopted him when he was 3 months old. His family is mom and dad, a 6 year old human brother (who he adores) and two 4 year old feline brothers. He loves the snow and the water. He thinks he's a lap dog. And whenever someone visits he greets them with a gift. Usually one of his stuffed animals, but sometimes a cat toy or sock, whatever he finds first!

Happy Hump Day and day 3 of Pet Appreciation Week! Meet Winston and Annie!🐾

Winston is a sweet boy. Very opinionated and stubborn but always up for a good snuggle. Annie is a lot of energy but the kindest pup who's always up for kisses.

Our next featured pet for Pet Appreciation Week is Romeo! Here are a few nice words his family had to say:

"Our cats and dogs have been patients of Acorn Animal Hospital for the past 35 years. They have always received excellent care from two major surgeries, routine annual checkups and boardings. Recently the Acorn staff expressed concern about the ability of our elderly diabetic cat, Romeo, to tolerate the stress of a week long boarding. They suggested home care as a solution. Veterinarian technician, Stefanie, came to our home twice daily to administer insulin shots, monitoring his feeding and generally comfort Romeo while we were away. It was an excellent solution and Stefanie provided wonderful care for Romeo."

Happy June!☀️ The first week of June is Pet Appreciation Week, so every day this week we will feature different pets to celebrate! First up are Jade and Jax!

1. Jax is 11 years young and still thinks chasing a ball is a full-time job.
2. He’s a true flirt — his favorite ladies all work at the vet’s office.
3. Car rides are his therapy. Always rocking a bow tie, up for an adventure, and living the dream.
4. He’s got an old soul but a young heart — wise eyes, playful spirit.
5. Jax has perfected the sad stare to guilt you into extra treats (and it works every time).

1. Jade is 5 going on 2 — full of sass, zoomies, and snuggle demands.
2. She sleeps like a sunbathing hippo and snores like a grown man.
3. She loves her people, her toys, and being the center of attention (in that order).
4. Jade’s specialty? Making people laugh with her goofy personality and dramatic sighs.
5. Her motto: Play hard, nap harder.
