Grand Champion Show Stables is a hunter/jumper training and showing barn located at 1515 West Street in Stoughton, MA. We’re dedicated to providing the best possible training and showing opportunities for horse and rider. Owner and head trainer Alexandria Quayle Muzyka has over 25 years experience riding, showing and training in southeast Massachusetts. It is her mission to assist each and every c

lient, whether they choose to show or not, in achieving the individual goals for themselves and their horses. Her specialty is bringing along young and/or green prospects and showing their full potential. Assistant trainer Becky Shipps joined the GCSS team after 25+ years of riding and showing in the hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions as an amateur. Her specialty is classic equitation with a focus on rider position, mechanics, and functionality. She works with riders of all levels to help improve their strength and fine tune their cues so they can communicate effectively with their horses. Both Alexandria and Becky’s main focus is on both finding, developing, and showing young horses as well as training and coaching hunter, jumper and equitation riders. Junior and amateur riders of all levels are welcome as our show schedule includes both one day USEF shows and A-rated away shows. Proper sportsmanship, horsemanship, and kindness are emphasized heavily in this program. New customers, new horses, and visitors are always welcome!

One day, fun day!

Great start of the season for Marley and Amy Warner!

Marley moved up to Short Stirrup with Carrot Cake and took home a 4th and three 5ths. Very excited to see this pair out this season.

Amy and Outfielder also moved up to the 2'3" and were Champion of the USHJA division.

It was a week of L's in Northampton - Laughter and Learning!

Charlotte rode Ludwig in jumper classes this week, learning the ins and outs of navigating turns and pace. Great rides!

Alta and Jackson also navigated some jumper classes, as well as qualifying for the NH mod children's medal, and being champion and reserve of the mod children's Eq and hunters.

Mandy had her first horse show outing and couldn't have been better! Taking home ribbons in the schooling hunters. Charlotte had a blast showing her as well in the mod children's and a few jumper classes as well!

🌟 Welcome Kristen Redquest and the Stonehill Skyhawks to Grand Champion Show Stables! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that Kristen Redquest is joining the Grand Champion Show Stables family as a new trainer! Kristen brings with her an impressive career spanning over three decades in the equestrian world.

Kristen started with Stonehill 13 years ago as an assistant coach under Allegra Valberg. After taking over the the head coach role, Kristen has led her riders to incredible success, including multiple IHSA Zone and Regional Championships and two Cacchione Cup qualifier at Nationals. Her dedication to fostering riders’ growth and achieving excellence is unparalleled.

With experience ranging from beginner lessons to advanced show coaching, Kristen’s expertise and passion shine in everything she does.
We are so excited to have Kristen’s wealth of knowledge, dedication, and enthusiasm at Grand Champion Show Stables. To Kristen and her wonderful clients who are joining us—welcome to the team! We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together. 🐴✨
