When I opened The Swaggy Dog, it wasn’t just about giving pups a safe, happy place to get pampered — it was about building the kind of grooming space I always wished I could work in.

After years in high‑stress grooming salons, I knew I didn’t want that environment anymore. Not for myself, not for the dogs in my care, and definitely not for the amazing groomers who choose to work alongside me. So I set out to create something softer, calmer… and honestly, a lot more fun.

Here, we keep learning together — whether it’s watching grooming seminars on the big screen TV right by our back table, traveling to expos, or signing up for new classes. We take comfy breaks when we can (because we all need to breathe and laugh a little). And we get to feed our creativity every day with bows, color, and all the playful finishing touches that make each dog’s personality shine.

The Swaggy Dog isn’t just a grooming lounge. It’s a little sanctuary — for the dogs and for us groomers. A place to keep growing, stay inspired, and send every pup (and groomer) home feeling cared for and appreciated.

Today marks one incredible year since we opened the doors to The Swaggy Dog Grooming Lounge — and what a journey it has been! ✂️✨

From day one, our vision was to create more than just a grooming shop. We wanted a welcoming, lounge-like space where dogs could feel at ease and clients could trust that their furry family members were in loving hands. Over the past year, we’ve grown exponentially — adding new services, refining our craft, and meeting so many amazing pups (and their equally amazing humans).

Every mat we’ve brushed out, every transformation we’ve snipped, and every wagging tail leaving our door has reminded us why we do what we do. 🐶💛 Your support, trust, and loyalty have turned our small dream into something truly special — and for that, we are endlessly grateful.

To our clients (both two-legged and four-legged): thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our story. You’ve made this lounge feel like home, and we can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
