We had a special visitor this afternoon - one of Wynn’s pups from her first litter last winter, Valor! She’s so beautiful! Following our pups in their new lives, and the joy they bring to their families, is one of our favorite parts of the breeding journey. 🥰

A look at both litters, check out the size difference!

While a little comedic & slightly chaotic, whelping & raising puppies for the first few weeks inside our home (yes, our laundry & dining rooms 😂) helps maximize socialization & exposure to the sights & sounds of daily family life, prepping the pups for their new homes. ❤️

Wylie’s puppies have arrived! Eight beautiful healthy babies. Mom and pups are doing really well. ❤️

Not all deliveries are easy or without loss, and this one was just that. Wylie had 12 puppies total (a massive litter) and unfortunately we have several stillborn puppies. We’re thankful for the good health of mom & her eight pups and grateful for the help of family, fellow breeders who shared experience and support, and our veterinarian Presque Isle Animal Hospital who all helped us navigate this labor. Wylie trusted us through the process (with a little moral support from our other momma Wynn ☺️) and did such a wonderful job as a first time mom!

It’s delivery day! 💕 Wylie (our second momma) has had five babies so far. She has been looking quite big these last few days so we’re expecting a larger litter. She’s getting lots of love & is doing a wonderful job as a first time momma.

The timeless line, "love is patient, love is kind" could not be better depicted than by the love and trustworthiness of a Labrador, one of the driving reasons Labs have been the breed of choice for multiple generations of our family. Our girls have loved on our babies & toddlers and we can't wait to watch them make more core memories in the years to come. 🥹
