Mary is searching for her beloved cat, Bobby, a female Calico, who has been missing for 7 days from Lindon Street.

Bobby is very special to her family, and they’re heartbroken. If you live nearby, please check garages, sheds, and under decks—she may be hiding and scared.

🐾 Pet Food Pantry Needs + Bright News! 🐾

We’re currently out of dry and canned dog food and dog flea treatments. Flea control helps ensure the food goes to the dog—not the fleas! We also need Friskies Canned Pate foods or Fancy Feast Canned Kitten, Chicken Flavor.

🌟 We’re excited to share that Halfway Home Pet Rescue is now a proud participant in a new statewide pet food donation program launched by the Maine Federation of Humane Societies! Big thanks to volunteer Kim Plavnick for delivering Chewy shipments to Aroostook County rescues!

We’re helping rehome two sweet 5-year-old cats recently surrendered due to heartbreaking personal circumstances. They are affectionate, gentle, and can be adopted together or separately.

🏡 Princess Mary is Home! 🐾
After escaping from her carrier at a clinic last fall, Princess Mary survived months on her own. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers — especially Peter Ellis — she was safely rescued and reunited with her family on June 3. 💕

🐾 Spring Clinics Are Complete – Fall Dates Coming Soon! 🐾

Our Spring spay/neuter clinics wrapped up on June 1st — thank you to everyone who participated! We’re planning 3 more clinics this fall, starting in September (exact dates TBA).

📩 If you submitted an application and haven’t heard from us or had to reschedule, the Spay-Neuter Committee will reach out by text or email as September approaches.
