☀️ National Heat Awareness Day reminder for dog owners

The “quick errand” is not worth the risk.

When temperatures rise, your car turns dangerous fast. Even a few minutes can put your dog at risk for heat exhaustion, dehydration, or heat stroke.

Before you bring your dog along today, ask yourself:

• Will they be able to stay with me the entire time?
• Is there shade and fresh water available?
• Is the pavement too hot for their paws?
• Would my dog be safer staying home?

Quick pavement test:
If the ground feels too hot for your hand, it is too hot for your dog’s feet.

We all love taking our dogs with us, but part of loving them well is knowing when home is the safer choice.

Keep them cool. Keep them hydrated. Keep them safe.

🚨 Refresher Alert -We’re moving from our usual Saturday class to this Friday the 29th !!!🚨🚨

Our monthly pack walk will be held at 7PM this Friday at the Hall of Fame Village! Come early to hang out with us at the PAWS & PLAY Adoption Event at Hall of Fame Village! ✨

We’ll be there earlier in the evening doing:
🐶 Live training demos
🦴 On-site evaluations
💡 Training Q&A
🌟 The Glow Walk with the community
