Some of you may have noticed lately how busy we are. 🐶🐱🐰🐹While we move forward with our growth and making some changes to best accommodate the most patients we can with our limited availability, we ask everyone to note some changes:

Online appointment scheduler - at this time we have disabled to ability to schedule appointments online. We understand the convenience of being to book an appointment without calling in (especially for those busy during regular business hours!). Unfortunately, we were having to move a lot of these appointments to be able to see sick 🤒 pets sooner. At this time, please call or email for appointments so we can find a time appropriate appointment for sick, wellness, and tech visits.

New Clients - we are still accepting new clients! We are, however, booking out 4-6 weeks for new clients. If you are a new client with a sick pet, we may need to consider other options instead of waiting for appointment availability. 🐾

Late, Late Cancellation (less than 24 hour notice), and No-Show appointments -
Due to having limited appointment availability at this time, we kindly ask for all of our clients to respect your 30-minute appointment time.

1.) Arriving more than 10 minutes late to your appointment may result in being asked to reschedule or pay a $20 late fee. Our schedules busy and arriving late sets the day behind for all other clients.

2.) Cancellation with less than 24 hour notice may result in a $20 cancellation fee. We have a waiting list for clients ready to come in, but short notice cancellation typically does not allow us to fill these appointments.

3.) No Shows!!! 🚫 Not having a client showing up to a scheduled appointment is one of the most frustrating issues in the clinic… we want to see you and your pet! If the appointment time no longer works for you or you no longer need the appointment, PLEASE call or respond to your reminder text. Not showing up to an appointment time may also result in a $20 fee to your account.

Multiple offense of any of the above may result in required deposits for appointments.

The team at Nose to Tail Veterinary clinic strives to deliver compassionate care to all of our patients.💕 We hope to be able to add more appointment availability in the future. Please be patient while make these changes to better serve our community 💪

Happy National Pet Week! Each day this week has a special theme to focus on pet health in different areas.

Nutrition and exercise matter

An estimated 52.7% of dogs and 57.9% cats in the United States are overweight or obese. Many people face the same issue, and the AVMA encourages pet owners to get regular exercise—with their pets! This improves cardiovascular health, helps both pets and people maintain a healthy weight, supports good mental health for both owner and pet, and strengthens the human-animal bond. See tips on walking, running, or starting an exercise program with your pet.

Walking is healthy for you and your dog. These tips can help keep you both safe from injury or illness while you're out and about.
