Kara came in second place last night at the Coshocton County Fair 1st Annual Dachshund Races.
Baruch didn't make it to the final heat but he still had fun running around. We might be able to do another race this year but we will see. The kids have a good time with the chaos.

🥰Our beautiful baby is on the mend. His appetite is back, and he wants to play.
The biggest thanks to our amazing vet . The appreciation for all you help us with is beyond words.

Every breeder is terrified of the "P" word. Somehow, we have NO idea where it could've come from, Josiah contracted Canine parvovirus. He hasn't gone anywhere for 2 weeks, so we had to have brought it into the house somehow. That's the only thing we can think of.
This right here is why breeders are so strict with visitors. Why when, we have a litter, we treat it like a quarantine situation. Josiah HAS been vaccinated! The newborn puppies have NOT! Now, we have to sterilize the property. Yes, I do go overboard with the cleaning.
You get laxed and stuff like this happens. Maybe it wouldn't have if we had a litter cause im super strict, but who knows.
Dave is so amazing. He's always so helpful and caring. We are always thankful to him AND his family!. He met us at the clinic on his day off and helped us get JoJo on his way to recovery. Thankfully, we have helped nurse pups back to health from Paro, and we caught it super early, so we are very hopeful he will pull through no problem! Im still a stressed wreck tho, so good thoughts and prayers for a full recovery.

Our beautiful little Priscilla did so amazing on her first fast cat event. Of course, we did the practice run, which took her 40 seconds. When she did her Qualifing runs, though, she cut that time almost in half! First 25, Second 21. She'll continue to improve so she can get that title! We are so excited for her bright career! When we get her pictures from the runs, we will definitely post them.

To start!
We have a new addition! Thank you too, A & Z mini Dachshunds, for our beautiful shaded cream, Josiah. Little man was amazing on the flight. He has already fully acclimated to the pack, and they accepted him right away. His parents are 6lb and 7lbs, so this little guy is expected to be a bean. He'll start his stud status in the spring of 2026, which we ecstatic about!


Secondly,
I was worried we bred too soon with Cleo&Cloud(stud was only available at that time). Well, unfortunately, I was right, so we will have to wait till winter to pair them again. I am very disappointed. I know a lot of people were looking forward to this pairing. Next time we will have a special arrangement in place.


Priscilla is due to come in heat in September, and we are working with a stud for her. More info to come on that pairing.
