Springdale Stables Springdale Stables is a full-service hunter/jumper equestrian facility that has been operating since 1975. Lessons focus on fun, safety and skill progression.

It is led by certified instructor Candi Cocks and offers a range of services from beginner lessons to professional show team training. Located in Camden since 1975, we offer boarding with 21 stalls and daily turnout. We offer hunt seat and showing to western leisurely trail rides. Summer camps are also available. Riders from 5 yrs. old to adults are welcome. If competing is what you like, join our

show team. We show at least once a month on the CEC Circuit. Candi Cocks is a certified instructor with a degree from Lake Erie College.

What a week at Intermediate Riding Camp!

We started the week as a group of individual riders, each focused on their own goals, confidence, and connection with the horses. By the end of the week, something special happened—they became true partners and teammates.

From cheering each other on during lessons to confidently jumping side by side, these riders learned that success in the arena is about more than skill. It’s about trust, encouragement, and growing together.

Watching them ride in sync, support one another, and celebrate each other's achievements was one of the highlights of our week. We are so proud of how much each rider has grown—not just as equestrians, but as friends.

☀️🐴 Summer Riding Camp isn't just about riding—it's about learning everything that goes into keeping our horses healthy, happy, and performing their best!

Today, South Carolina Equine Associates Dr. Servantez challenged our campers to think like veterinarians as they learned about lameness exams and how nerve blocks can help pinpoint where a horse might be hurting. From the foot to the leg, they followed along as we discussed how veterinarians work through the puzzle of finding the source of a problem.

The campers came armed with great questions, lots of enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. We love seeing young horse lovers dive deeper into the science and care behind the horses they adore!

Who knows? We may have a few future equine veterinarians in this group! 🩺✨🐎

New for Advanced Rider Summer Camp!

Our Advanced Rider Summer Camp is designed for dedicated riders looking to take their horsemanship and riding skills to the next level. While we still have wonderful lesson horses available for campers to use, we're excited to now offer the opportunity to bring your own horse for an even more personalized camp experience!

We have been able to open up two stalls in our main barn to extend this unique opportunity.

Whether you want to strengthen your partnership, fine-tune your skills, or gain valuable training experience with your own horse, this new option allows you to make the most of your week at camp. Spots are limited—contact us for details! 🐴☀️

🌟 What an amazing first week of Beginner Summer Riding Camp! 🌟

We had so much fun welcoming our beginner riders as they learned new skills, built confidence, made friendships, and created wonderful memories both in and out of the saddle. We are so proud of all the hard work, smiles, and accomplishments from our campers this week!

Now, we’re excited to kick off another great week as our Intermediate Summer Riding Camp begins! We can’t wait to welcome both returning riders and new faces to the barn for more learning, laughter, and horse-filled adventures.

🏆 What a fantastic weekend at Stable View’s Hunter Jumper In & Out Series! 🏆

We’re so proud of our riders and horses for their outstanding performances against large, competitive fields.

✨ Brigit Bradley and Quintessential earned Short Stirrup Equitation Reserve Champion honors.

✨ Addison Leach and Dublin Down also took home Short Stirrup Equitation Reserve Champion, adding another great result to the weekend.

✨ Brittany Corstange’s Firedrake was Champion Limit Hunter on Saturday, while Simply Shatner SMW claimed Champion on Sunday! Notably, Kaitland Hinson piloted W***y to his first place in the hack on Sunday!

✨ Shannon Bradley and Easy Twist put in consistent rounds to earn several top-three ribbons in both the Adult Hunters and Adult Equitation divisions.

Congratulations to all of our riders, horses, and support teams for a successful weekend filled with great rides and accomplishments. As temperatures start to rise, we’ll be taking a short break from showing, but we’re already looking forward to getting back in the ring soon!

Day 1 of the Hunter Jumper In & Out Series at Stable View is complete!

After a very long day that didn't end until 7:45 PM, we're proud of our horses and riders for putting in great performances from start to finish. A huge thank you to show management for keeping things rolling all day long.

🏆 Brigit Bradley and Quintessential earned Reserve Champion in the Short Stirrup Equitation out of 11.

🏆 Addison Leach and Dublin Down finished 2nd, 5th, and 5th in a large Short Stirrup Hunter division out of 14, just missing Reserve Champion.

🏆 Brittany’s Simply Shatner SMW put in beautiful rounds in the Limit Hunters, missing Reserve Champion by just one point.

W***y won the second Hunter Over Fences, while Firedrake was second before coming back to earn Champion in the Limit Hunters as he continues his winning ways.

🏆 Shannon Bradley and Easy Twist waited until after dinner for their Adult divisions but finished the day with solid rounds and a top-three placing, even as the rain moved in.

A long day, plenty of ribbons, and lots to be proud of. On to Sunday! 💙🐴
