Over the past few years, I’ve been incredibly lucky to turn my love for dogs into a full-time career. I graduated from an intensive, hands-on six-month professional dog training program where I trained everything from service dogs and working dogs to family companions—learning directly from trainers with decades of experience.
I spent countless hours shadowing group classes like basic obedience, on-leash and off-leash skills, rally, and even trailing courses. Being able to watch so many different trainers and dogs work together gave me a deep appreciation for how unique every dog truly is.
Since then, I’ve worked with pups of every size and personality—from tiny Alaskan Klee Kai to giant English Mastiffs—adapting training techniques to fit each dog’s needs, learning style, and confidence level. For the past year, I’ve also had the joy of teaching basic obedience classes, helping owners build clear communication and reliable foundation skills with their dogs.
I’m also passionate about giving back. As an Honored Shelter Ambassador for the Iredell County Animal Shelter in North Carolina, I visited weekly for six months to offer free training help to shelter dogs, making their stay a little easier and boosting their chances of finding a loving home. Earlier this year, I even got to help train a rescue pup through the All American Dachshund Rescue, supporting his journey into a forever family.
All of these experiences—formal education, hands-on work, shelter involvement, and time spent with so many different breeds—have shaped the balanced, compassionate approach I use today. I’m grateful for every dog and every owner who has trusted me to be part of their journey. 🐾💛
