Two girls, same pen, both have access to same greens and food. Chickens are just like humans! Some eat their greens, fruits, and veggies better than others. Dark orange =a green eater

The garden and Bees are doing wonderful. Many say, “I can taste the berries in the honey”. We have MANY wild blackberry patches such as this one all over our 150 acres. The magnolia flavoring is also quite nice. , BEEKEEPING,

We have been meeting at tractor supply once a week for honey drop offs. We have been meeting on Saturday for egg drop offs. Due to husband’s health situation we find this is the best for us to be able to care for him and to continue to serve our customers. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Careful with eggs!!

Chickens at Cal-Maine Food's plant in Texas have tested positive for avian influenza or bird flu. They are the largest producer of eggs in the US.

We sell our honey for $11. 12 oz bottles from a treatment free apiary.
We sell our farm fresh eggs-a dozen for $5. No antibiotics nor any hormones given to our chickens.

Have a brand new unopened simple pulse machine. For Nigerian Dwarfs, two goats at a time, with silicone tubes etc. We have to get rid of our herd. We are selling for our purchase price and we saved on the tax. Camden… pm for more info.

We are so fortunate to “grow” our own chickens. Free ranging with no antibiotic and no hormones. Humanely raised on our land and taken care of by us. Nothing get wasted as we use all the skin, bones, etc. combined with all our extra onion peels, celery, carrot, and other “chopped” leftovers. Anytime we cook with anything that goes into making our broth, we freeze. When we make our broth we throw everything into the roaster. Always our own broth! We make fresh chicken salad, chicken tetrazzini, casserole, and many other great dishes.

Grateful to have 15 figs trees doing very well. These came from my Grandmother’s original tree from Lebanon. My uncle Bob was gracious enough to hire Truesdale Farms to graft trees for all of us grandchildren. Some did not want them so I got the extras. We got a Few figs last year but super excited for the kid’s future figs and learning their heritage.

Raising animals ain’t for the weak or for the cheap! When people ask us if we have any CHEAP animals I tell them to move on. 5 meds we were running low on and one we bought yesterday for $90.
