2 yo registered Oldenburg gelding currently standing around 15.2hh and string tested to mature to around 16.1hh. Rigo has not yet started under saddle as he is still growing but has had plenty of handling on the ground, been laid across his back, bridled, lightly lunged, and introduced to cavalettis. He is also no stranger to grooming, small clippers, farriers, and vets. Al’so comfortable aroundnd other horses and dogs.
Rigo is a lovely mover—light on his feet, athletic, and curious. He has a great big walk for a young guy, a flouncy jog that extends when asked, and rhythmic canter.
Sired by High Point Hanoverians RIBALDI, who produces offspring readily suited to dressage , hunters, jumpers, and eventers. Known for his easy going personality, heart, and love for jumping, Ribaldi was ranked the No. 4 hunter breeding stallion in 2022 and has recently produced multiple best young horse progeny.
Out of KWPN FEI 1.35m jumper mare BIEP VAN ‘T FREE whose sire TANGELO VAN DE ZUUTHOEVE competed up to 1.70m in FEI, Rigo has strong family ties on the bottom to upper level jumpers.
