We have a wonderful update from Brody’s family! 💕
You may have read about this special dog from our previous posts and e-newsletters. In May of this year, Brody suffered some horrific injuries including lacerations, bullet wounds, and abrasions during a domestic violence incident. He came to Midcoast Humane, and we gave him everything he needed to heal and recover.
When a fantastic family adopted Brody, it’s an understatement to say that we were thrilled! They have recently followed up with wonderful photos and an update to share! His adopters write:
“Brody’s been home with us for a little over a month, and is doing so well! He is getting along great with the kids and our other dog. He's slowly learning to relax, and we are seeing him loosen up over time. He loves cozy comfortable things, and loves being tucked into his giant cozy bed every night with a blanket. He loves walks, running around the yard, and many snuggles. Thank you all for taking such good care of him. We are really loving having him as part of our family.”
We want to thank Brody’s adopters for giving him a second chance at a happy life where he is loved and tucked into bed each night! We also want to thank everyone who donated to help with Brody’s medical bills and his recovery.
Stories like Brody’s are why we exist! Every year we care for over 4,000 animals who need compassion, medical care, safety, and a second chance.
