These incredible people spent Friday night at the shelter and raised an amazing $25,000 (and counting!) to help the homeless animals in our care. 🐾 We’re so grateful to each participant and every donor; your generosity makes it possible for us to continue providing the highest quality care to every pet who comes through our doors. A huge thank-you as well to our friends at NEWS CENTER Maine for shining a spotlight on our mission, and to the Furniture Superstore Superstore for their generous sponsorship that made this special night possible. Tonight’s the night!

Join us for Cat Naps and Doggie Dreams and a family-friendly Open House at our Brunswick Campus (5 Industrial Parkway)!

We will be extending our hours until 7pm for:
🌛Adoptions with special mystery discounts on animals over six months of age!
🌟Meeting our sleepover participants
🌛Pumpkin painting
🌟Showing of Bluey (with snacks for the kids!)
🌛Trick-or-Treating

Each sleepover participant has worked hard to raise money for Midcoast Humane’s important work! Come see them in their designated rooms they’ve decorated, meet some of our adoptable animals, and enjoy a night of furry fun.

If you’ve ever considered fostering an animal before, now’s your time to shine! 🥰

Midcoast Humane has many happy endings due in no small part to our Foster Program. We rely on cozy homes and loving caretakers like you to care for pets in need until they’re available for adoption.

You don’t need to have had a pet before to foster! You can tailor a foster experience around your schedule and comfort level. Fostering could be one day, one weekend, or long term!

Foster animals are most commonly cats and kittens, but can also be dogs, puppies, rabbits, and occasionally other small animals. Motherless kittens, soon-to-be mothers, under-socialized animals, senior pets, animals recovering from sickness, or animals with special needs all fall into animals that need extra love and care in the comfort of a foster home. 🐱

Love can be found in the smallest of creatures, including our rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters! 💕

We have an abundance of small animals who are looking for new homes and people who will share their carrots, berries, and lettuce leaves. 🥰

All of these animals can be found at our Brunswick Campus, and you can visit them from 11am to 3pm (every day but Wednesday). These furry little friends would love to meet you!
