Marian's Dream: Philanthropy for Animal Advocates

Marian's Dream: Philanthropy for Animal Advocates Marian's Dream focuses on ending companion animal overpopulation through the support and advocacy of spay and neuter programs.

The "Feline Fix by Five Months" campaign is our current focus. Marian's Dream promotes spay / neuter programs for companion animals. We have provided both financial and leadership development assistance to groups in 30 states, developed educational materials for public health officials, worked on public education about the need for spaying before first heat, and have assisted in the startup of several high volume spay clinics, both stationery and mobile.

Do you know of a situation or of someone that needs help to their cat, dog, or kittens and puppies affordably? Visit the United Spay Alliance Program Locator Map to find low-cost accessible s/n services. If there is no statewide s/n referral in your region, contact USA for more information -- or even, to explore starting one! Remember, kittens can get pregnant as young as 5 months, which is why it is so critical to Fix Felines By Five, to ensure every cat is wanted -- and to reduce and end euthanasia.

Learn how two Maine women co-founded Spay Maine and spearheaded the creation of Help Fix ME, a publicly funded, low-cost spay/neuter program. The innovative program does not use any income tax money, nor does it compete for state funds against human programs.
