Exciting news for our Eastgate Pet Clinic Family!
We are thrilled to share that we are now open Monday - Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, and would like to welcome our newest Veterinarian, Dr. Taylor Wardwell.
Dr. Wardwell graduated veterinary school in St. Paul, Minnesota and started practice in 2017. He is dedicated to the practice of high-quality but adaptive Veterinary medicine and believes he has the best job in the world. He is passionate about client education and spends a great deal of time discussing diagnoses and treatment options with pet owners to determine the best plan for everyone. His specific areas of interest include soft tissue surgery-especially cancer surgery, dentistry, and exotic species, among others. Dr. Wardwell also enjoys sharing his passion with others interested in the profession and mentoring. Dr. Wardwell is available for appointments Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with Thursdays being dedicated to surgery.
We are thankful for Dr. Holman's hard work and dedication to her patients being our only Veterinarian on staff for over a year.
Dr. Holly Holman has been the chief of staff for Eastgate Pet Clinic since April 2025. Dr. Holman is a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Kansas State University and a zoological medicine and surgery residency at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium before moving to Idaho in 2012. She worked as the veterinarian for Zoo Boise for a decade as well as several years with the Idaho State Department of Agriculture before joining the Eastgate team. Dr. Holman will see small animal patients as well as any legally owned exotic patient. She has special interests in preventative care and behavioral health and has never met a bully breed she didn’t love. Dr. Holman is available for appointments Monday and Wednesday, with Tuesdays being dedicated to surgery.
We want to thank our pet parents for their patience and dedication to Eastgate Pet Clinic through our hour changes and at times availability issues. We look forward to being more available and making sure all your pets needs are being met.
Thank you,
Eastgate Pet Clinic
