Can you spot the differences?
Colorpoint cats come in more than one beautiful look! While Siamese-style markings may be the most familiar, there are plenty of stunning variations to admire. Here are a few adorable kittens we had the joy of seeing at Boise Cat Clinic this last week!
Seal Point Mink (photo 1)
Seal points have rich, dark brown “points” on the face, ears, legs, and tail. The mink pattern gives the contrast a softer, dreamy look, and often have stunning aqua-colored eyes.
Tortoiseshell Point (photo 2)
Tortoiseshell points mix classic colorpoint markings with patches of red or cream blended into the darker points, making every cat’s pattern wonderfully one of a kind.
Lynx Point (photo 3 & 4)
Lynx points show off distinctive tabby stripes on the face, legs, and tail, giving them that extra-cute “striped” look while still keeping the classic colorpoint style.
Chocolate Point (photo 5)
Chocolate points have warm, milk chocolate-colored points with a lighter cream body. Their coloring is softer and lighter than the deep brown seen in seal points.
