Today is World Animal Day! (Oct 5, 2025) 🌎🌍🌏

The 2025 World Animal Day theme is "Save animals. Save the planet."

We wanted to highlight a recent volunteer trip in the Dominican Republic that Dr. Ali, vet tech Dica, and vet tech Ashley recently participated in. 🐕🐈

"Project Samaná is one of the Caribbean’s longest-running volunteer animal-welfare programs. Our goal is to give medical care to small animals and horses in Samaná, Dominican Republic. With limited resources but big determination, we spayed and neutered 101 dogs and cats in 4 days. Thanks to 3 vets, 5 nurses, and the support from locals and volunteers. It was not easy — very hot and no air conditioning — but we did it. I have no words to express the feeling in my heart after we completed our mission."

This nugget came in because of excessive paw licking. 🐾 Dr. Prunier found a small infection, but that won't bring down the spirit of this little rug rat.

🐱 Had their flea/tick/heartworm prevention

They have been spayed/neutered and are ready for their new homes!!! Momma cat is also available. She is sweet and little, about 1 year old.

Adoption fee is $100 and includes their next rounds of vaccine boosters. Please call or come by if you're interested.
