I've had Lu's urn on the shelf for 2 yrs Lu Guerky. Lori..not our Lu. Lu G. Was a long time friend. Bartender for many yrs. Grew up in Mark's neighborhood. Winniconne. So many good ole peeps from that neighborhood!! Anyway; after 2 yrs of joking about her urn ..she needed it yesterday. 😢 She bought her 1st one yrs ago..and then used it for her hubby when he passed. When I made this urn for Lu I 🙏 🤲 prayed she wouldn't have to use it for a long time. I prayed that she rest comfortably when the time was right. Funny..I had plans to deliver next week. Our dear friend Lori Guerke was one of a kind. Heart of gold. Strange sense of humor..that made me smile as I wrote this. She always wore stupid joke tee shirts. Always compassionate. Always had an ear to listen. Always had a smile or a joke waiting . R.I.P. Lu. Now I pray for peace for all her friends and her beloved family. 🙏
