Sorry but not sorry. If you want me as your farrier, please be pro-USA. I do check out potential client's profiles before setting any appointments up. I am a Christian, pro-Trump, pro-American, pro-MAGA, pro-wolf, and an American Patriot. I am a conservative, conservationist, and a hunter. No that is not contradictory. If you disrespect my country, our military, our law enforcement or Christianity, I will respectfully or disrespectfully decline to take you as a client. I don't care about skin color or ancestry or ethnicity. I care about Americans and their animals. But if you act in a way that is un-American, best you apologize. Because that's a darn good reason for me to refuse you.

Just wanted to let my page visitors know (I've already informed my clients) that my truck, my only vehicle, is not running, so I can not get on the road. I am looking for another truck. I will post again when I'm able to be available and on the road again.

Looking for clients and to help any farriers within a 90 minute drive of Wautoma. I bought a house in Wautoma, Wisconsin, so I'll be here for awhile.
If I'm helping another farrier, I'm not looking to take your clients. You have my word. I'm very old fashioned that way. Much like when another farmer gets injured and needs help, the farmer's neighbors come and help.
My availability will be Friday evenings, all day Saturdays, Sunday after Noon. For emergencies, I can schedule for evenings. I do have a Monday-Friday full-time job.
As of July 28, 2024, my rate is a minimum $40 per horse within 25 miles of Wautoma, and $5 more for every 10 miles above that. Of course tips are appreciated if you like my work!
I did notice fuel prices are on the rise again, so if they hit $3.75/gallon, my rates may go up. I suspect gas prices may continue to go up till President Trump will sworn in as the 47th President of The United States of America. So vote Donald J. Trump for President!!!!
If you don't like him, then maybe don't contact me. I became homeless shortly after Joe Biden became president, so I'm a bit bitter about all DemocRats. Fuel, food costs, rent, insurance, all skyrocketing out of control brought about my homelessness. Had to move where good paying jobs were, then get my credit improved. It took more than 3 years, but I made it...kinda. Life is still a struggle because of ongoing inflation. Get Trump back in the White House and MAGA Republicans into Congress, and I'm sure things will get better for all of us and the USA!

Offering my farrier services up to 90 minutes from Princeton, Wisconsin. Depending on fuel prices and mileage, there may be a travel charge. My trims are shoeless trims and start at $50. I do take my time to get hooves correct and balanced.

Having the right farrier makes all the difference. Currently I'm a barefoot trimmer, just started training for shoes. My horse had pancaking hooves because of poor farrier work. After having said farrier come trim her once under my ownership I saw why. Tried another farrier. Neither did corrective trims.
Learned from Bergy then trimmed my own horse. Nothing I did was working. Finally, after 2 years, I took a drastic measure of an extreme trim. She was lame for nearly 3 days. By lame, I mean her feet were too tender to stand long or walk comfortably on except in the soft dirt of the paddock. It was summer so she would just lay in the sun or shade. Scared the heck out myself. But it worked! Any horse owner would have freaked out and screamed bloody murder if I would have done this to their horse. All told, the time was about 4 years, including chiropractic and masseuse work. She was 5 years old when I bought her, and she had the same farrier that entire time.
I've done a lot of messed up hooves and can get them corrected from just one trim to a few weeks. One horse had bowed legs from unbalanced hooves. I trimmed once, balancing the hooves, and the legs appeared as they should. It helped that the incorrect trim was only a few days old, not years.
The only problem with my trims, I take a lot of time to trim one hoof. After all, the horse may have to live with my trim for up to 2 months. So I put the horse first, not my self.
Praying helps. Give God the credit for the knowledge and skills.

Lyle "Bergy the Horseshoe-er" Bergeleen has developed an online farrier course and he is a personal friend of mine. Whether you are currently a farrier or are considering learning to trim horses, I want to spread the word about this!!! He's been a farrier for 50 years! You can check out his site, but here's the message I'm sending to those I gave a heads up about it (as well as this message I will be sending to my Facebook horse friends): The HoofTalk course is up and running! The price is only $100 for right now!

I'm thinking of coming out of semi-retirement. Looking for clients. Whether I'm to become your regular farrier, emergency farrier, or to fill in if your regular farrier is taking some needed time off. My location is currently Princeton, Wisconsin. I will come to your horse. Fees will be on a case by case basis: distance, horse attitude, horse behavior, condition of hooves, etc. If you used me in the past, my rates are higher because of fuel and cost of living nowadays. To contact me for best response, use Messenger for my personal Facebook profile, Dave Noffke, or email me at [email protected] and I will respond as soon as possible. The days I will be available will be Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and some Holidays. When you contact me via Messenger or Email then I'll give you my phone number. This post is public so you might be able to share it as well.
