BUSINESS UPDATE 2/27/25:

I wanna start this with a thank you for everyone’s continued support for my small business.

As of 2/27/25 Tiny Paws has officially closed inquiries for new clients for the forseeable future. This choice does not come easy but the hope is that with this time tiny paws will be able to expand. Creating a better and bigger environment to be able to accept and help even more clientele going forward.

That being said, Any past clients are welcomed and encouraged to reach out when needs and/or concerns may arise. Time frames on responses will vary due to availability.

Anyone that has questions or concerns please feel free to message us directly and we cant wait to see what our future holds, together!

We have an update to when we will be accepting new clients!
As of now the plan is to begin accepting new clients in early spring!

We look forward to continuing to help people build lasting healthy relationships with their dogs!

Some temporary changes are coming our way regarding dog training.

As of today 8/22/24 we are temporarily not taking on new clients.

Classes for current/ previous clients will be moved to evenings or weekends starting Sunday 9/8/24. If you have a class your are currently attending, Sam will talk about the scheduling with you at your next class day.

UPDATE: VINNIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Happy tails handsome!

Rehoming: Vinnie!
Due to some life changes for his current owners and his personality Vinnie is looking for his next adventure and hopefully his long term home!
Owner/ Trainer Sam had Vinnie in puppy classes when he was young and was left to her in the will of his late first owner. Sam then found a great home for Vinnie however he’s looking to find his next human!

Vinnie is a purebred miniature poodle, Blue in color and is around 5 years young

Need to know: he is food reactive, neutered, UTD on vaccines, needs to be leashed or he will run off, walks pretty well on a leash, home with older kids, good with some cats, good with dogs, loves to play ball and chew on toys, kennel trained, and potty trained

If you or someone you know may be interested in a meet and greet please text Sam at 608-393-0078 and we can get you in touch with his current owner to schedule a day/ time!

It’s very important that whoever takes this handsome boy keeps in contact with Sam throughout his life and if ever needing to rehome to contact Sam to help find the right human!

Mr. Vinnie can’t wait to meet you!

The beautiful and headstrong Gaia graduated from her Basics class this evening! Her class heavily focused on recall training since she is a working Livestock Guardian Dog! 🎓🐕💗

Ruth the Therapy Dog (owned and handled by Sam Schmidtke) was at the library this morning for the kids to read to her! Having a Therapy Dog is a lot of work but also very rewarding!

Nutella graduated AGAIN! This sassy little lady just completed her next step basics class on Saturday! She’s all grown up! Congrats Nutella! 🎓🐕‍🦺🩷

Little Miss Ruby officially has finished her training and per the trainers standards is a full blown service dog! Congrats to Ruby and her Handler for all of their hard work and commitment! Happy tails Ruby and for the sake of your line of work I hope I only see you in passing from now on! 🥳🩷🐕‍🦺

I heard it is National German Shepherd day so I scrolled way back to try and find all the shepherds I have trained in my career! I hope I got them all! 🩷 Fun Fact: GSDs are my favorite breed since childhood and what started my journey into dog training as a career choice!
