Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services helps send hard-to-place dogs to rescues.

Titan, a 90-pound Alaskan Malamute mix is a sweetheart. But few people come into BACS looking for a giant Nordic-breed dog. After a month without any interest, FoBACS paid for Titan’s transfer to a rescue organization in far Northern California with a 100% adoption success rate for our dogs.

Titan, a 90-pound Alaskan Malamute mix is a sweetheart. But few people come into BACS looking for a giant Nordic-breed dog. After a month without any interest, FoBACS paid for Titan's transfer to a rescue organization in far northern California with a 100% adoption success rate for our dogs.
