From tiny kittens to grown-up cats, each of these adopted pets has started a new chapter with a family ready to love them.

Soda Pop is sweet, energetic, and always ready for feather wands, catnip, and a good burst of activity. Once the fun winds down, he’s just as happy to settle into your lap and relax.

He brings the fizz, the charm, and the chill.

Sunday Fun-day at Thrift Shop Ashby comes with something special this week.

Pineapple, Pear, and Melon are three litter-mates whose adoption fees have already been covered by their generous foster.

This special fee-waived adoption applies to Pineapple, Pear, and Melon only. Standard adoption fees apply for other adoptable pets.

Melon takes his kitten responsibilities seriously, keeping an eye on his siblings, chasing toys, and making time for a nap when the mission is complete.

Pineapple eases in gently, then makes room for wand toys, chase games, and any lap that appears available.

Pear seems convinced every room has a shortcut, and he is personally responsible for finding it.

Meet Pineapple, Pear, and Melon this Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM at Berkeley Humane’s Thrift Shop Ashby and see who is ready to bring the kitten business to your house.

Join us for Feline Focus: Setting up the Ideal Environment for Your Cat, a free online workshop exploring the everyday factors that influence your cat's comfort, behavior, and well-being.

We'll discuss litter box setup, scratching posts, hiding spaces, stress reduction, indoor enrichment, and considerations surrounding outdoor access. You'll leave with practical tips for creating a home that better supports your cat's needs.
Questions are encouraged, and time will be reserved for Q&A.

Alfredo has several ongoing research projects.

Current areas of study include flowing water, soap bubbles, bird activity outside the window, and whatever you're doing at any given moment.

His findings remain inconclusive, but he is committed to gathering more data. 🐾

When he's not conducting important investigations, Alfredo can usually be found collecting pets, making new friends, or falling asleep on a lap after a hard day of scientific observation. The curiosity is real. The charm is unavoidable.

Happy sounds like the friend who wakes up every morning convinced something fun is about to happen.

A crumpled receipt on the floor? Exciting.
A shadow moving across the wall? Incredible.
