Age: 1 ½ years
S*x: Male, neutered
Breed: Domestic Shorthair, White and Orange

This is a courtesy listing to help these sweet boys find their forever home. Please contact Joan at 510-457-6360

Bob and Marley are bonded, loving, and playful 1 1/2 year old brothers. Marley with more white color is more outgoing and an enthusiastic chatty greeter and Bob takes his cues from him but is the first to play executing huge back flips and jumps with wand toys. Marley prefers faux hunting mouse like ground toys softly growling them into submission. They enjoy petting, being picked up and carried around and are learning the joy of laps. They are indoor cats. Are you ready to fall in love?

Marley and Bob are vaccinated and microchipped.

Welcome!

Over the past several years, significant strides have been made in reducing the rate of dog and cat euthanasia all across the nation. Home At Last Rescue (HAL) plays an active role in this "no-kill" movement by rescuing animals from city shelters, providing temporary foster care, and bringing these animals to the public for placement in high-quality, loving homes. Historically, HAL has operated primarily in the Berkeley area and has been instrumental in lowering the euthanasia rate in the Berkeley municipal shelter.

HAL is now working to replicate this success by expanding efforts to other East Bay communities. We have recently begun rescuing animals in Pinole and Martinez, and we have stepped up our efforts in Oakland and Alameda as well. We are extremely excited about the opportunity to make a bigger difference and would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who support us through your volunteer efforts, participation in our foster care program, and generous contributions. We truly could not do this without you.

Millions of cats and dogs are killed at municipal shelters each year. We rescue as many as we can from these shelters and then provide the animals with housing, socialization, rehabilitation and medical care. Once the animals are adoptable, we hold adoption events to find our animals loving, permanent homes.
