🐾 Meet Buddy – a sweet 6-year-old Coonhound looking for a second chance. 🐾
Buddy has had a tough start to life, but we’re hopeful his story is about to take a brighter turn.
After his owner passed away, Buddy entered rescue. As a vocal hound who was intact at the time, he struggled in that environment and spent much of his time kenneled. On top of that, he was dealing with a painful medical condition that left his p***s exposed and unprotected, causing chronic irritation and making even simple things like sitting uncomfortable.
The rescue ultimately made the decision to relinquish Buddy to Broken Top Veterinary Clinic so he could receive the medical care he urgently needed.
This past Thursday, we performed surgery to correct the issue and also neutered him. We’re hopeful this will finally allow him to heal, be comfortable, and live the happy, normal life he deserves.
Despite everything he’s been through, Buddy is incredibly sweet. He listens well, loves people, and has been friendly with both dogs and cats he’s met so far.
