Exiting mustachio update!!!

Yesterday the farrier came out and mustach got his feet done!!! Just the front because he is not quite ready for the backs. And I also am able to lay on him and have him walk forward, hopefully going to get on Sunday!!! He is the sweetest horse I have ever met to say that is a lot because there is not a horse that will love you more!!!

Can’t wait for the first real ride!!!

Yay! We did it! Liv has helped me so much and managed to get a halter back on her. She is learning to trust and lead and has her tag off. She is now “Margarita” ♥️. She is super smart and learns quick. Let’s us pat her face and both sides of her body to her withers. Starting to work on her front feet.

Update on mustachio!!!

He did amazing these last few days!!! We have officially mastered being tied, we can wear a saddle pad with ease just after a 15 minute session of trying, he got all braided today and he looks so pretty!!!!🤩 yall can’t tell me this isn’t the sexiest beast yall have seen!!!( I’m a tiny bit biased but oh well😂). He is putting on weight nicely and hopefully we will get the saddle on by the weekend or maybe longer I’m trying to give him as much time as he needs! He is the sweetest man and he has so much patience for me, I spent like 45 minutes doing his hair because it was so windy I was struggling 🤣.
-We can pick up the front two feet haven’t tried the backs yet,
- I can brush all over his body!
-he is still a little scared of me grabbing his tail so that is another day to come!

He is posing in the photos for you guys, he is such a love bug and an attention hog 🤣!!!

This horse is so amazingly kind and loving and smart whoever end up with him is going to be the luckiest person to have a best friend like him!!! He is now leading like a champ in the round pen! Horses with mustaches are truly the best!!!

Big man on the farm is doing great. He is such a sweet heart with a great mind and the kindest eye. He is starting to fill out and put some weight on and he just seems to get more and more handsome by the day! He Is dappaling out so i cant wait to see his glow up!!!!!

Mustachio has so far
- switched halters
- graduated from the lead line
- can pick up front feet ( working on the back)
- lead outside of pen
- I can braid his hair
- I can sit in there and snuggle on him and he loves it!
-I can pick out his feet
- I can brush his whole body.
- and he loves new people

So… we have been having a tough time.. Grace and her 2 year old, not Liv (they are doing amazing). She lost her halter day 2 and I struggled with getting near her without her trying to kick me. Today, she let me touch her with a pole and actually sniffed my hand. lol. It was so amazing! She loved the scractches but was instantly afraid of sniffing me… hopefully tomorrow will be different! Always moving forward tho! She is such a curious and sweet mare… just has some fears. And that’s okay! ♥️. I don’t have a name yet because all of our experiences together have been fearful. And I want to give her a name that gives her power. ♥️♥️♥️

Me and my boy three years ago today, it literally feels like yesterday I miss him so much but he is living his best life in Montana and I couldn’t be happier. Here’s to the best boy who got me into mustangs and training young horses!!!❤️❤️❤️
