I am officially an AKC Master Groomer as well as a Nationally Certified Master Groomer through the NDGAA!🥳

I started this process about a year ago and I am so proud of myself for sticking it out and passing everything first try! All the hours of studying, hundreds of written test questions, virtual practicals, and flying Blake Hernandez out to the salon for my in-person practicals (along with tons of stress and tons of tears to be honest😂) was all worth it! What a dream this is💚

Thank you to all the pet parents that let me use their dogs during this process, and to those who brought dogs to me from out of town for workshops! I want to give an extra special thank you to the four dogs and their parents that allowed me to use them in my final practicals. They let me grow out their dogs for months, brought them in more often than their regular appointments for maintainance, and basically just gave me the freedom I needed in order to make this happen! I could not have done this without you! And of course to the BEST most patient dogs, Grace, Fester, Malla, and Reggie!🥰

It's amazing what you can accomplish when you simply put your head down and do the work💪 I absolutely love my career and I will never stop learning and making myself better!💚

Our Pet CPR and First Aid class was amazing!🥳 We had a wonderful group of engaged and determined learners, and we had the best demo dog to learn from, Andy💚 Thank you so much to Sit Stay Heel Dog Training for coming to the salon and putting on this class for us so we can continue to help our pets and yours everyday! And a huge thank you to those who attended, we appreciate you taking on the proper responsibility of pet ownership!🥰
