🚨 Red Light Therapy… Does It Really Work?
This is a topic I don't take lightly because I've seen it firsthand.
Not just through research, but through one very special horse.
In 2023, my rodeo mare, Miss Streakin Solis "Pebbles," suffered what we were told could be a career-ending injury. She tore her impar ligament inside her hoof an injury so difficult to diagnose it took an MRI to find.
Her rehabilitation was long and carefully managed under veterinary guidance, but one tool became a major part of her recovery…
✨ Red light therapy.
For months, Pebbles received two 15-minute sessions every single day. Morning and night. No shortcuts. Just consistency.
Today, she's back doing what she loves competing, traveling, and feeling like herself again.
That experience completely changed how I look at recovery.
💡 One of the biggest misconceptions is that red light therapy is only for injured horses.
It isn't.
We use it to support recovery after hard workouts, help with everyday soreness, and keep our performance horses feeling their best.
The biggest key?
✔️ Use it correctly.
✔️ Use it consistently.
It's not an overnight fix, but when it's part of a well-managed program, it can become an incredible tool for your horse.
🎥 Watch the video below as we break down what red light therapy is, how we use it, and why it has become a staple in our program.
