Celebrating " National Dog Day " is the perfect time to present our next
" Longer termer " Dog , the amazing and handsome, ACE!
Ace is one of ASR's " longer termers" - meaning he has been with us longer than some , not because he isn’t wonderful, but because he’s waiting for the right adopter .
He is definitely a favourite with our volunteers 🙂 This handsome German Shepherd is incredibly smart, affectionate, and deeply loyal once he knows you’re his person.
Ace will thrive with a confident adopter who understands that building trust takes time — but with patience comes one of the greatest rewards: a bond that is unshakable.
He is protective, devoted, and the picture of the classic GSD male. We don't know his history with kids so recommended for older teenager and above .
For the right adopter, Ace will be more than a companion — he will be your steadfast partner for life.
For more information, please email [email protected]
If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $350.00.
Who is looking for a cat friendly ( as in will share her food with the cats :-) ) sweet younger dog ?
"Kim aka Kimmy " named after our wonderful foster Coordinator , Kim Box, who recently passed away from cancer :-( might be the perfect gal !
This sweet dog did not have the best start in life --part of an accidental litter ( GSD MOM, Lab Dad) where she and her siblings were left without a lot of care for most of their early lives .......but after a few days in a foster home, she is blossoming , affectionate with people as well as cats !

We are a group of German Shepherd lovers with a mission to save German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes who are homeless and/or at risk in shelters. We take these wonderful dogs into our homes, obtain whatever vetting is needed and give them love and structure while we search for a permanent home for them.
One of our other missions is to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter, training your pet to be a canine good citizen and other dog related topics. We also work with individuals who have German Shepherds to help keep them in their homes.
We hope by our efforts to reduce the staggering number of perfectly adoptable dogs euthanized in shelters every day . We truly believe one day we will have a 99% live release rate from shelters .
We are an all volunteer organization, recognized as 501c3 charity by the IRS .
We fund our efforts through fundraisers and the generous donors of our fellow dog lovers.
All donations are tax deductible and gratefully accepted.
