You can also visit adoptable cats from PAWSBINK at the PetCo Pet Partners Outreach in Poulsbo every day, seven days a week! You can get applications for all of PAWSBINK assistance programs at: CK Food Bank, Fishline, ShareNet or Helpline House.

This weekend, West Sound PAWS will be closed for Open Hours at both Pleasant Beach and Kingston. Staff will be taking a much deserved and needed break on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Open Hours will resume on Friday, September 5, 2025. Thanks for supporting our team with an opportunity to relax over the long weekend and ramp up for an exciting fall with new cats and kittens to share! Happy International Dog Day! International Dog Day is celebrated annually on August 26 to raise awareness about dog welfare, encourage adoptions, and celebrate the bond between dogs and their human friends.

Join us in celebrating International Dog Day by donating to West Sound PAWS! We serve our community's dogs by providing financial assistance for spay/neuter surgeries and emergent veterinary care for families in need.

You can also celebrate the day by creating a will to safeguard your dog's future! Through our partnership with the Kitsap Community Foundation and Free Will, you can write your own free will! International Cat Day is celebrated annually on August 8 to raise awareness about cat welfare, encourage adoption, and celebrate the bond between humans and cats.

You can celebrate International Cat Day by adopting a cat from West Sound PAWS, volunteering or donating to West Sound PAWS, or simply spending quality time with your feline friend.

Our Pleasant Beach Adoption Center has Open Hours on Friday 4-6pm and Saturday 12-4pm. Our Kingston Adoption Center has Open Hours on Sunday 12-3pm.

Currently, only 32% of Americans have wills. Take 20 minutes to create your will and care for your family, including your furry friends! This month, West Sound PAWS joins the nationwide effort to help find loving homes for animals in need. With your donation, we continue to support animals and families in our community. Before our cats are adopted, we make every effort to ensure that they are healthy and happy! We vaccinate, spay/neuter, microchip, and socialize each cat to make their transition home easier.
