We are sorry to hear about the loss of Walter.

He was an amazing Wildernest shop dog who greeted SO many of us.

We were lucky enough to have Walter visit us at Z Bones once in a while

When he was in our shop, it felt like we had someone famous in to visit ❤️.

Walter went to heaven on Friday, Nov. 7th.

You will be missed Walter!

Maybe look for little z bone ….. I’m sure he’d be happy to show you around up there.

Meet the very handsome Capone.

Capone is a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff).

He’s about one year old and is already a staggering 135 pounds……with probably another year to fill out.

Capone was just visiting the island for a few days but we were thrilled to have met this sweet soul.

Meet handsome Shadow.

Shadow is a 7 year old Malamute.

We originally met Shadow as a puppy. We knew he’d be big, but this kid is not only GORGEOUS, he’s a sturdy boy.

It was hard to get a get picture of Shadow because he was busy “talking” 😂. But! We did it!

Shadow loves his family and has helped raise two lovely young girls.

Shadow also LUVS fall!

You know why? Fermented Pears!

Yep! You read that right. He’s a fermented pear man.

We had fun seeing you again today Shadow.

Our Founder

Zachary has spent his entire life working in the pet industry. He was unofficially appointed "Director of Taste Tasting" when he went to work at a National Pet Food Retailer. After being there for almost 7 years, he held a similar role for a National Pet Supply Distributor.

Zachary has many nicknames, but "Z" is his favorite. When he's sassy, his family calls him "Z Bone"!

Z will be 13 in June 2019.
