Yesterday was a difficult day for our sweet Missy. She went down and was unable to get back up on her own, and despite our best efforts, she needed additional help.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bainbridge Island Fire Department for responding and working so hard to help Missy. Your kindness and willingness to serve our community do not go unnoticed.

We are also incredibly grateful to Dr. Adam from Sound Equine, who came out and refused to give up on our old girl. Thanks to her dedication and expertise, Missy was given another chance.

Moments like this remind us how lucky we are to live in such a caring and compassionate community. We could not do what we do at Happy Hooves Sanctuary without the support of so many wonderful people.
