Our Story
We opened in December, 2008.
Julie Rust and her husband, Sean, moved to Bainbridge Island in 2008 from Alabama.
Julie’s road to becoming a groomer started when her employer decided to close down due to competition from China. She attended Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Jenison, Michigan in 2006. She then went to work for NCMG Debbie Slocum in Glencoe, Alabama. Julie competed in multiple grooming competitions and attended many trade shows before moving to Washington State. She completed her certification as a National Certified Master Groomer in March, 2008.
Julie continues to believe in the importance of continuing education, and attends trade shows and dog shows annually with her staff.
