🎃 Happy Halloween! Here are some last minute Halloween Safety Tips for Pets 🎃
Keep Treats Out of Reach 🍫: Chocolate, candy, and sugar-free gum (xylitol) are toxic to pets. Store all treats securely and far from curious noses and paws.
Mind the Decorations 🎃: Candles, string lights, and small décor can be hazardous if chewed or knocked over. Keep them out of pet areas.
Costume Comfort 🕸️: Dressing up your pet? Make sure their costume is safe, comfortable, and doesn’t restrict movement, breathing, or vision. A festive bandana or collar is often the best option!
Secure the Door 🚪: With trick-or-treaters coming and going, keep pets safely indoors and away from the front door to prevent accidental escapes.
ID & Microchip 📛: In case your pet sneaks out, double-check that they’re wearing ID tags and that their microchip info is up to date.
Create a Calm Space 🛏️: Loud noises, costumes, and activity can be overwhelming. Provide a quiet room with familiar toys, food, and bedding to help your pet relax.
