North Gay Street Veterinary Clinic is a full service animal hospital that was established in 1988 by Dr. Martha Thomas, a graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. Having earned her B.S., MS., and D.V.M., Dr. Thomas possesses over thirty years of clinical experience and knowledge to offer you and your pet! What we offer: Whether your pet has been a patient of ours for years or y

ou are looking for a veterinarian for your new pet, we are ready to serve you! In addition to pet health maintenance and regular examinations, we offer daily and weekly boarding as well as grooming. Dr. Thomas offers surgeries ranging from routine spays and neuters to more complex procedures such as corrective orthopedic surgeries. We are one of very few veterinary clinics in the area that offers laser surgery, an up-and-coming surgical method which is performed with minimal pain and drastically reduces recovery time. We also offer Companion Laser Therapy which is a noninvasive, drug free, surgery free approach to treat chronic pain using photobiomodulation. The therapy laser is a beam of warm light which deeply penetrates tissue without causing damage and leads to reduced pain, reduced inflammation, and increased healing. In addition, we offer in-house routine blood testing and urinalyses which can be completed within minutes using our new IDEXX lab stations. This gives us an incredibly quick and accurate insight into your pet's overall health, allowing us to treat them with both efficiency and accuracy. Give us a call to today for a consultation on your pet's healthcare!

Spring allergies aren't just for humans! North Gay Street Veterinary Clinic knows the months of March, April, and May can be no fun for pets either. Dogs and cats with allergies may also experience skin rashes or excessive licking. This month (on April 11th) is National Pet Day! Our pets rule our lives, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. They take up the best spots on the couch, expect snacks on demand, and somehow have more pictures on our phones than we do. Drop a pic of your furry troublemaker in the comments and let’s celebrate the chaos they bring! ngsvc.com
