Could he be eagerly running to his inhaler, putting his face in and asking for puffs? Sure! Not every cat is going to do that! This is totally good enough for me!

*he comes to his scoop bed willingly
*he’s purring the whole time and after the puffs
*he takes treats and does not retreat with fear or stress
*he’s still sitting there as I type and prepare this video, flopping, purring and headbutting me to make typos.

Does he love it? No.
Is he ok with it? Absolutely.
Has he coughed all week since we started administering? NO!

I’m going to call this a wrap. In weeks or months he’ll not even care anymore and it will be old hat. I’ll post one of those when it happens!

We are successfully administering puffs!
Sorry I fell off the wagon with posting but we did get there. This was the next step before we started actually administering the inhaler daily.

Satu is starring in Paws Whiskers & Claws, The Feline Hospital's post today because she LOVES silvervine gall fruit nuggets and will be very excited when I come home tonight with a fresh bag!

Ren mentioned to us that he has not had much social media action lately and his “fans” need to know he is ok! Here is our dear thriving Søren! Mostly, here are his paws! I call them his little chef hats. They look like the little white chef hats on turkey legs in a cartoon!😂

A new study recently published tells us that mutual grooming is not always friendly. An interesting development in the cat behavior world and also just yet another example of how incredibly subtle and passive aggressive feline behavior can be.

Satu protesting her “mommy and me day” trip to the internist last week! She’s actually quiet as a mouse, I was lucky to capture her one squeak of protest! Isn’t she such a dainty little cutie?

On an educational note, please always provide bedding in your cat’s carrier, a favorite toy, a shirt that smells like you, something! And, ideally, have something to cover the carrier like a beach towel. It doesn’t have to be a fancy matching ensemble like you see here but it is important to be able to shelter them from stressful experiences.

This article is oddly void on depth but I do know how people love info about coat colors so sharing it anyway! No scientific proof yet that coat colors correlate with personality...so I strive to stop spreading old wives tales so certain colored cats do not get a bad rap.

Sharing one of our most recent projects and by "our" I, of course, mean, Jake! I ain't got time for this! I'm busy consulting, commuting, making foraging toys, cutting litter boxes, clicker training cats, grooming Sven (full-time gig!) and trying to find a few minutes to breathe in there somewhere.
