🐾 **Welcome to The Dynamic Duo: The Canine Commanders of their surroundings (humans)!** 🐾

In this corner, we have **Captain Mia Clementine **, the noble protector of lead trainer Dawn and in the opposite corner, it’s **Sir Sniffs-a-Lot Alfie**, the vigilant guardian of all things that smell interesting. Together, they form a superhero team that takes their territorial duties very seriously!

# # # The Bark-Off
Every time a leaf rustles or a neighbor walks by, you can count on a dramatic “bark-off” between these two. It’s like they’re in a canine version of a buddy cop movie! Captain Mia Clementine starts with a booming alert, “Intruder alert!” while Sir Sniffs-a-Lot Alfie chimes in with a skeptical “Who goes there?!” It’s a symphony of woofs, and you’re the audience—complete with popcorn (or dog treats)! 🍿

# # # The Squirrel Patrol
When a squirrel dares to enter their territory, you’d think a national emergency was happening. Captain Mia Clementine takes the lead, leaping into action with a valiant bark that could wake the neighbors. Sir Sniffs-a-Lot Alfie, meanwhile, is on the ground, using his impressive nose to track that pesky intruder. It’s a full-on, two-dog operation, complete with high-pitched yips and heroic poses! 🐿️

# # # The Couch Conundrum
Now, let’s talk about the couch—their royal throne. They both want the best seat in the house, and it’s a constant battle of “Who can look cuter?” Just when you think they’ve settled down, one will casually stretch into the coveted spot while giving the other the side-eye of doom. “Excuse me, but I was here first!” The couch becomes a battlefield of fluffy cuteness and playful growls! 🛋️

# # # Visitor Vetting
When guests arrive, it’s an intense “security check.” Captain Mia Clementine takes the lead, barking like a proud sentinel, while Sir Sniffs-a-Lot Alfie conducts a thorough sniff test. If the guest passes, they’re awarded the honor of being allowed to pet the “guardians.” But if they show any sudden movements (like reaching for their hoomans), it’s game on! Watch out, intruder!

Coyote behavior intensifies during mating, denning, and pup-rearing seasons.
From January through May, coyotes expand territories, hunt more frequently, and respond aggressively to perceived threats — especially small animals. Pet attacks increase during this period due to heightened instinct, not malice.

JANUARY-FEBRUARY: Mating
- Males are aggressive, territorial
- Actively patrolling larger areas
- More bold, more desperate

MARCH-APRIL: Denning
- Females need extra food for pups
- Both parents hunting constantly
- Attacks spike 60% during this period

APRIL-MAY: Pups Born
- Parents are protective and hungry
- Hunting overtime to feed litter

For the next 4 months, coyote attacks on pets will be at their annual peak.
