🐾 Meet Rick Ross — Formerly Slick! Because He’s ONE COOL CAT! 😎🧡🐈

Rick Ross is about 5–6 months old and came into our rescue in June as a tiny kitten. He quickly became the LIFE OF THE PARTY in our Cat Room! 😎

He loved running on the cat wheel, playing with his kitty friends, and getting attention from everyone! ❤️

🐶 And he’s DOG FRIENDLY! He LOVES the dogs, and they love him right back! This affectionate boy is everyone’s buddy, whether they have two legs or four! 🐾

Then things took an unexpected turn… 💔

Rick Ross developed strange sores and crusty spots on his face, ears, nose, and paws. After multiple vet visits and another $500 in testing, ringworm and herpes have been RULED OUT! 🙏

🐾 So what’s going on?

Our vet suspects an autoimmune condition called Pemphigus Foliaceus (PF), although a bacterial skin condition is still possible.

🧡 HERE’S THE GOOD NEWS!

If it’s autoimmune, it’s NOT contagious! Once an infectious cause is ruled out, Rick Ross may FINALLY be able to leave isolation and rejoin his kitty and dog friends! 🥳

💔 Watching this social little guy live alone has been heartbreaking. He cries to be part of the pack again, and I just want him back to being our happy, fun-loving COOL CAT!

💰 Another $500 spent, but EVERY PENNY was worth it! We’re getting closer to answers and hopefully getting him back to his friends and eventually into a loving forever home!

🙏 PLEASE HELP RICK ROSS! Every donation helps cover his medical expenses and continued care.

New name, same COOL CAT with a HUGE personality and an even BIGGER heart! 😎🧡

🐾 Please help us keep changing their story, one paw at a time.

🐾 Meet Slick — Our Fun-Loving Boy Who Needs Your Help! 🧡🐈

Slick is probably 5–6 months old now. He came into our rescue back in June as a tiny little kitten, and he quickly became the COOL CAT in our Cat Room! 😎

He was the life of the party! He loved running on the cat wheel, playing, socializing with all the other cats, and getting attention from everyone. Such a fun, loving, affectionate little guy! ❤️

Then things took an unexpected turn…

Slick started developing some strange sores and crusty spots around his nose and face. We took him to the vet, thinking it was ringworm. It wasn’t. Then herpes was suspected, but after all this time, we still don’t have answers.

Now we’re wondering if something autoimmune could be going on.

💔 The hardest part is watching this sweet, social boy live in isolation.

Slick has been staying in my room, separated from all his kitty friends while we try to figure out what’s happening. He cries because he wants to be part of the pack again. He doesn’t understand why he can’t play with his friends anymore.

And it absolutely breaks my heart.

We’ve taken him back to the vet for additional testing, hoping to finally get some answers and the right treatment.

🙏 WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The vet visits, testing, and treatments are adding up, but we aren’t giving up on Slick! Lab alone cost $510.

He deserves to get healthy, run on his cat wheel again, play with his friends, and most importantly, find a forever family of his own. 🏡❤️

I have such a soft spot for this little boy. He’s incredibly affectionate, full of personality, and has so much love to give.

Please consider donating toward Slick’s medical care so we can get answers and give this sweet boy the happy ending he deserves. 🐾

❤️ Please help us keep changing their story, one paw at a time.

***update- Victoria has a adopter!

💔 DUMPED IN A PETSMART PARKING LOT! 💔

This precious little girl is a 6-pound white Poodle mix who was abandoned outside PetSmart on Howell Mill Road in a wire crate with no bottom! 😢

The people responsible were reportedly seen sitting in their car smoking a joint before driving away, leaving this poor baby behind in the parking lot.

Thankfully, someone working at the store witnessed what happened, and this sweet girl is now SAFE! ❤️🐾

She was terribly matted and desperately needed some TLC. We’ve already had her groomed and given her a rabies vaccination, but her journey isn’t over yet.

🐾 She still needs to be spayed.

🐾 She needs additional vaccinations and veterinary care.

💰 $165 has already been spent, and the expenses will continuing to add up.

This little girl didn’t deserve to be thrown away like garbage. She deserves love, kindness, and a family who will never abandon her again. 🥹❤️

🙏 PLEASE HELP US GIVE HER THE HAPPY ENDING SHE DESERVES!

No donation is too small. Every dollar helps us get this sweet baby the care she needs and one step closer to her forever home.

❤️ Please donate, share, and help us turn her heartbreaking beginning into a beautiful new chapter!
