Sometimes our bravest patients come in the smallest bodies.

Garfield came to the vet via the cat distribution system. He was suffering from a life threatening infection in his eye. With the help of his new owner and some community partners he was able to undergo a procedure that would change his life for the better.

He quickly became a VIP (very important purr-son 🐱 ) with the staff and was discharged to begin his healing journey with a new lease on life.

Our Brave Patient of the Week is our friend, Finick. Finick stopped by the clinic due to a painful foot. He was a perfect gentleman for his exam and x-rays, and is on the road to recovery. Way to go, Finick.

This weeks nominee is our good friend Abbott! Mr. Abbott has had surgery and several exams over the course of a month and has remained such a gentleman for the entire staff. Way to go, Abbott!

We just had a Good Samaritan drop off two dogs at our clinic that were just found off Martin Branch Road. Unfortunately, neither were microchipped. One is an adult male dog and the other is a male puppy. If you are missing your dog(s) please call our clinic at 828-254-4224 and give an accurate description so we can try to get these friends back home.

It’s time for our Brave Patient of Week!

This week we had a very special nominee: Goose!

Goose had a very difficult week due to illness. He spent time in our clinic and at two different ERs. Throughout all his treatments he remained a perfect gentleman. Fast forward to this afternoon, he made a surprise visit to the clinic to show us how he had made a full recovery and is back to his full energetic self.

This weeks candidate is sweet Stokes. This little nugget had a little accident and broke his toe. But he is on the mend thanks to him being so cooperative for his exam and treatment. What a champ!
