Our setting is a first-rate office environment, designed with nurturing and state-of-the-art care in mind. Generous use of indoor plants and three zones of ventilation ensure virus and odor control and contribute to the feeling of a friendly, healing atmosphere. More important than our facility is our staff. These carefully-selected, highly-trained caregivers share the common vision of providing high-quality medicine, surgery and service that exceeds expectations.

Staff Spotlight: Dr. Grant, DVM 🐾💜

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Dr. Grant, DVM! ✨

Dr. Grant has been working in veterinary medicine since 1982, when she started working at a veterinary hospital during the summers while completing her undergraduate studies. She went on to attend NC State University and graduated in 1988. We are incredibly lucky to have had Dr. Grant as part of the All Pets family for 20 years and counting! 🐾

Dr. Grant has always known that working with animals was her calling. In fact, when she was just 4 years old, she would play veterinarian with her cats. They were certainly some very patient patients! 😹🩺 From babies to seniors, Dr. Grant loves helping our four-legged family members through every season of their lives and helping them thrive along the way.

Her special interests include ultrasound, geriatric patients, exotics, and surgery. She also loves continuing her education and traveling, often combining educational opportunities with exploring new and amazing places. 🌎✈️

When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll often find Dr. Grant practicing yoga 🧘‍♀️ or enjoying one of her favorite yoga classes. And if you didn’t already think she was adventurous enough, she is also an avid scuba diver! 🤿 She often travels at least once a year to see incredible sharks and marine life.

We absolutely love Dr. Grant and are so thankful for the knowledge, compassion, and dedication she brings to All Pets every day. Thank you for 20 wonderful years, Dr. Grant! 🐾💜

🐾 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: BRIANNA! 🐾❤️

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Brianna, one of our amazing CSRs! 🐶🐱

Brianna has been working in the veterinary field for 3 years, all of which have been right here at All Pets! She has an Associate’s Degree in Arts and came into veterinary medicine with a passion for helping creatures who don’t have a voice and advocating for them. 🥹🐾

Her favorite part of the job? Interacting with all different kinds of people and animals every day! She loves that no two days are ever the same. ❤️

Brianna is also someone you can always count on! She’s always on time, always willing to lend a helping hand, and is never afraid to jump in wherever she’s needed. She has a way of lighting the mood and comforting those around her, making her such a wonderful person to have on our team. 🥰

Outside of work, Brianna is an avid reader—and we’re pretty sure she could give Sam and Crystal a run for their money! 📚😂 She averages around 60 books a year!

Brianna also has a wonderful husband and a couple of loving pups who you’ll see pictured below. 🐶❤️

We are so lucky to have Brianna as part of the All Pets family! She truly is a wonderful addition to our team, and we appreciate everything she brings to our clinic every day. ❤️🐾

🍄🐾 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: DR. VALEIKA! 🐾🍄

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Dr. Valeika, DVM, PhD in Epidemiology! ❤️

Dr. Valeika has been in veterinary medicine for 14 years, with 4 of those right here at All Pets! He is an expert in vaccines, infectious diseases, and illnesses that can spread between animals and humans. 🦠🔬

Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Valeika worked as a college professor in public health before making the transition into veterinary medicine.

He also serves as an infectious disease consultant for the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), helping veterinary professionals stay up to date on current disease information. He serves on the Buncombe County Department of Health and Human Services Board as well! 👏🏼

When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Valeika loves spending time with his amazing wife and two beautiful children. His fur-and-fin family includes Penny the dog, one cat, two guinea pigs, and LOTS of fish! 🐶🐱🐹🐠

And perhaps our favorite fun facts… 🍄🎶
Dr. Valeika is an avid mushroom hunter, loves hiking and exploring the Asheville area, spending time with his kids, AND is a huge King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard fan! 🤘🏼🍄

🎓🐾 CONGRATULATIONS, MADISON! 🐾🎓

We are SO, SO, SO proud of Madison! 💕🥳

Madison has officially completed her Veterinary Medical Technology degree at A-B Tech and graduated as a Veterinary Technician! 🎓🐶🐱

And she didn’t stop there! She also passed the statewide VTNE and is officially a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! 🩺✨

All of her hard work, dedication, late nights, studying, and love for veterinary medicine have paid off, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her continue to grow in this field!

Congratulations, Madison! We are incredibly proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished! ❤️🐾
