🐾💙 A Day in the Life of Chico 💙🐾

Chico arrived to spend the day with us with one simple goal: TAKE A NAP. Unfortunately for Chico, the clinic staff had a completely different treatment plan.

Step 1: Find Chico. ✅
Step 2: Sit with Chico. ✅
Step 3: Cuddle Chico. ✅
Step 4: "Just five more minutes" of Chico snuggles. ✅

Poor Chico spent the day being used as a pillow, a foot warmer, and an emotional support dog for our team. Every time he settled in for a nap, another staff member appeared for another dose of this precious boy's love.

We're not sure who enjoyed the visit more—Chico or the staff. ❤️

Thankfully, Chico is a very patient boy who tolerated all the extra love and attention while perfecting his professional napping skills.

📸 Evidence attached of Chico being relentlessly adored by our team.

Today we celebrated Lori, our amazing Lead CSR, as she gets ready for her next big adventure! 💍💕

We gathered for a bridal shower filled with sweet treats, laughter, well wishes, and plenty of smiles. From the beautiful decorations to the delicious cake, it was a wonderful afternoon celebrating someone who means so much to our team.

Lori is the friendly face that greets everyone with a smile, the voice our clients know and love, and the clinic mom who somehow keeps us all moving in the right direction. She is the calm in our chaos, the peace that settles all of our storms, and the steady presence we can always count on. Simply put, we would be a little lost without her.

Today was our chance to celebrate her and all the joy she brings to those around her. We are so excited for this special chapter in her life and couldn’t be happier to shower her with love and support.

Please join us in wishing Lori a lifetime of love, laughter, happiness, and wonderful adventures ahead! ❤️🎉

☀️🐾 Today is National Heat Awareness Day!

As temperatures rise, it’s important to remember that heat can be dangerous for our pets too. Dogs and cats can overheat much faster than we do, especially during those hot Texas afternoons. 🌡️

A few quick reminders for pet parents:
💧 Keep plenty of fresh water available
🌳 Provide cool shade and indoor breaks
🐾 Avoid hot pavement during walks
🚗 Never leave pets in parked vehicles
☀️ Limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours

Signs of heat exhaustion can include excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice these signs, seek veterinary care right away.

Stay safe, stay cool, and give your pets an extra treat for surviving summer in a fur coat. 💙🐶🐱

🐸 FRONT DESK UPDATE 🐸

This gentleman arrived today with no appointment, no carrier, and absolutely no intention of leaving.

He spent several minutes suction-cupped to our front door judging everyone who walked in like he personally approves the schedule.

Honestly? He fit right in!

We’re still waiting on his records transfer, but based on his attitude alone we suspect:
• dramatic when handled
• screams for no reason
• probably named Pickles

10/10 clinic visitor. Would absolutely offer tiny employee badge. 💚

🐢💚 Today we celebrate the slow walkers, snack lovers, sunbathing professionals, and tiny armored potatoes of the animal kingdom… it’s World Turtle Day!

From tiny tortoises to majestic sea turtles, these slow-moving little legends deserve their moment in the spotlight.

Fun fact: turtles have been around for over 200 million years… which means they survived dinosaurs AND still somehow move like they’re perpetually running 7 business days behind schedule. 😅

Here’s to these shellebrated little legends and all the joy they bring. 💚🐢

🚨 TINY TIGER ALERT 🚨

Everyone please remain calm… Aaron has arrived, and he is approximately 87% whiskers, 10% attitude, and 3% actual body weight. 🐾

From the serious “I run this clinic now” stare…
to the tiny battle cry in the last photo…
this little guy came in ready to file complaints, demand snacks, and steal every heart in the building. 🥹🐱

🐝🌼 It’s World Bee Day and we’re buzzing with appreciation for the tiny striped coworkers keeping our flowers blooming, our gardens growing, and probably running the entire planet if we’re being honest.

Today we celebrate the fuzzy little sky jalapeños that work harder than all of us before our first cup of coffee. ☕🐝

So if you see a bee today, give her some space, plant some flowers, and thank her for her pollination services. She’s booked, busy, and carrying the ecosystem on six tiny legs. 🌎💛
