BACKWARDS DAY! ↔️
Sometimes, disabled riders - especially children - can get distracted or feel unsettled on the horse as the lesson progresses. Switching their position to riding backwards on the horse can provide different body sensations and give them a fresh view to look at, which is often enough to disrupt the negative feeling and return the rider to a state of calm...but also, sometimes riding backwards is just fun! 😁
