Bentley puppies coming at the end of June! 🤩 This is a repeat pairing with Hope that we’re thrilled to do again. Their first litter was stunning—two matured around 13-15 lbs, and two were closer to 20 lbs.

We’re expecting husky masks, black/white, grays, or silvers, and yes… all blue eyes. 🩵

Our 3 growing Chipmunks are officially 4 weeks old! 🐿️🐾 Next week we’ll start charting weights and doing temperament testing—but some personalities are already shining through! Simon is definitely the largest, followed by Theodore, and then little Alvin… who lives up to his name as the most adventurous of the bunch!

We’re so excited to introduce them to the great outdoors this weekend! 🌿☀️ Stay tuned for updates and videos of their very first adventures!

Momma Koda is soaking up the sunshine ☀️ and taking a well-earned break—doesn’t she look beautiful? She was born right here at Golden State Pomskies, the daughter of Gamora and Walter. Her three little Chipmunks are growing fast and will be offered to our waitlist in less than two weeks! 😊

Is a Pomsky Right for You? 🐶🐾

Pomskies make fantastic companions and family dogs. They’re friendly, playful, and intelligent—with big personalities packed into small-to-medium bodies. These pups are smart enough to follow commands, but don’t expect a “live to please” attitude. They do best with consistent training and strong leadership, especially early on.

While they’re less active than Huskies, Pomskies still need regular mental and physical stimulation. The good news? They can thrive in smaller spaces like apartments, as long as their needs are met.

When it comes to grooming, expect light shedding year-round and a heavy “coat blow” for 2–3 weeks, twice a year. But the upside? They’re not smelly dogs and don’t require frequent baths. Brushing 2–3 times a week usually keeps their coats in great shape.

Pomskies come in a wide variety of colors and sizes—and as a breed, they’re proving to be incredibly healthy with excellent life expectancy. Many Pomskies are living long, active lives with few health concerns when responsibly bred.

And fair warning: Pomskies are attention magnets 🧲. If you prefer flying under the radar, this might not be your breed—because you will get stopped for compliments and questions!

It’s the time of the week you’ve all been waiting for… Chipmunk Check-In!
Happy Easter week and happy 3-week birthday to our sweet trio 🐣

These little guys are growing so fast and learning new things every day!
Yesterday we tackled our nail trims like champs ✂️ and today we’re going to try our very first taste of kibble 🥣—wish us luck!

I’m also starting to see some eye color coming in:
Alvin is looking like a green-eyed heartbreaker 💚
Theodore is rocking at least one blue eye 👁️
And Simon is dazzling with two blues 💙💙

Oops—my previous post may have made it sound like none of our boys would be at the Pomsky meetup, but that’s not the case at all! I’m excited to share that the guardian homes for Rip, Whiskey, and Bentley will be bringing them to the reunion. Plus, some of our beloved retired boys like Walter and Bowser will be there too!

Sorry for the confusion! Just a quick reminder: I run an all-girl dog household. All of our males live in wonderful guardian homes so we can carefully plan our pairings and avoid any accidental litters. Can’t wait to see so many familiar faces—both human and Pomsky—at the meetup! 😊

It’s spay day for our beautiful Gamora, and we’re sending her all the love and good vibes. ✨🙏

We also want to take a moment to thank her for the incredible legacy she’s given us—so many amazing puppies who have gone on to bless families all over the US and Canada. Some of her very best even continue her line in our program: Rip, Hope, Koda, and Sierra.

1. Only buy from verified breeders. The American Pomsky Kennel Club website has a list of reputable programs you can trust. ❤️

2. Always request a video call to see the puppy live before sending any funds. ☎️

3. Be wary of too-good-to-be-true prices. Scammers often lure with low prices and high-pressure tactics. 🚩

Please do your research and stay safe out there. If something feels off—it probably is.

Sasha and Juneau will be joining me at this year’s annual Pomsky family meetup! 🥳👏

I really wish I could bring everyone, but it’s just too hard to keep track of all the dogs and host at the same time. So I’ve been rotating who gets to come each year—and this time it’s retired mama Sasha and her daughter Juneau’s turn!

We have some disappointing news to share—Brady is not pregnant. This is her second missed pregnancy, so we’ll be running some lab work to hopefully get a better understanding of what’s going on. We’re staying optimistic and committed to trying again in the future.

To those on our waitlist who were excited for her puppies, I’m truly sorry. This was unexpected, and I appreciate your understanding and patience. That said, we do have some exciting plans ahead! Hope is scheduled to breed with Bentley next week, with puppies expected in June. Nova is also due to cycle soon and will be paired with Bentley as well. Both girls are related to Brady, so we’re hopeful their puppies will have similar looks and traits.

It’s been a busy weekend over here—filled with kids and puppies, just the way we like it! Our little chipmunks officially all have their eyes open, and with that… they’ve found their voices too! The wobbly hobble has begun, and we’re soaking up every second of this sweet stage. 🤗

I’m dying—Alvin literally looks like a chipmunk!! Theodore’s chubby little cheeks are TOO much. And of course Simon can’t see yet… he doesn’t have his glasses! 🤓 Happy 2 weeks old to these perfect boys. So in love with this trio! ❤️

You might remember Bleu, one of Stevie and Echo’s boys! A couple years ago, his original family had to make the tough decision that they couldn’t keep him. Thankfully, we were able to place him with another one of our amazing Golden State Pomsky families—and he’s been living his best life ever since!

Rehoming is rare for us (it’s only happened twice), but we want you to know: we will always take our puppies back or help with rehoming if it’s ever needed. We do everything we can to set our families up for success—but no matter what, our responsibility to these puppies doesn’t end when they go home. We brought them into this world, and we’ll always care for them.

Remember Comet from our Reindeer litter? Ugh—he’s just so cool!! That gorgeous wild-looking coat pattern? It’s called agouti, and it’s fairly uncommon in Pomskies. He looks like he ran straight out of the forest. This guy is seriously one of a kind. 🤩

Got to visit our Bentley boy today! He’s seriously the cutest and sweetest little guy. Even though he’s considered toy size, he still carries that strong Husky look—and we love that about him. Bentley is our main man with multiple litters planned this year, and he consistently throws gorgeous pups in all different sizes. He’s small but mighty, and we’re so lucky to have him in our program!

Carley is what I’d call a soul dog. A soul dog is that rare companion who feels like they were made just for you. They understand you on a different level, bring comfort in the hardest moments, and create a bond so deep it stays with you forever. Some people are lucky enough to have more than one soul dog in their lifetime—and I count myself among them. But Carley is definitely one of mine.
