Critter Worx is a nonprofit educational animal experience powered by Ready Set Rescue, created to give families a completely different way to experience animals up close while learning about wildlife, responsible animal care, conservation, and rescue.

Come explore our new space, meet some incredible animals, see the habitats we’ve been working so hard to create, and help us celebrate the beginning of something we hope becomes a special part of Amarillo for years to come. 💚

🚨 VIP OPENING NIGHT UPDATE 🚨

We've made the difficult decision to reschedule our VIP Opening Night so we have a little more time to finish everything and give you the best experience possible.

📅 VIP Opening Night: Thursday, August 20
🦎 Open to the General Public: Friday, August 21

If you've already purchased VIP tickets, no action is needed! Your tickets will automatically be honored on August 20 with all of your VIP benefits included.

⚠️ Important: For the safety of all guests and animals, all children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times. Parents or guardians may not purchase only a child ticket and wait outside. The accompanying adult must also have a ticket and remain inside with the child throughout the event. This policy is in place for liability and safety reasons.

We are so excited to partner with Little Bees Play House next Wednesday, July 29th at 10:30 AM! 🐢🐇🦜🐍

We'll be bringing some of our ambassador animals for a fun, hands-on educational experience where kids can meet a few amazing critters, learn about wildlife and conservation, and hear a little about the work we do at Ready Set Rescue.

Best of all, it's included with regular admission to Little Bees Playhouse, so come out, say hello, and make some new animal friends! We can't wait to see everyone there! 💚

🦎 We'll be at Gee Family's Sweet Corn & Pumpkin Patch this Friday & Saturday! 🌽

We're excited to spend the weekend at the Gee Family's Sweet Corn & Pumpkin Patch Festival alongside our friends at Feather & Fang Animal Sanctuary
A huge shoutout to our friend Kaden for putting this together. If you haven't checked out Feather & Fang yet, give them a follow—they're doing some really awesome work with reptiles, especially venomous species, and we're excited to support another local nonprofit making a difference.

Come by, meet some incredible animals, ask questions, and enjoy one of our favorite local family events. Our own kids have gone on field trips to Gee Family Farm, and they've even donated pumpkins to help feed some of our rescue animals over the years, so it's really special for us to be part of it.

Please note: We will be closed at our T-Anchor Flea Market location on Saturday while we're at the festival, but we'll be back open on Sunday and can't wait to see everyone then!

We may be a day late… but around here, every day is Snake Day. 🐍😂

We were a little distracted yesterday building an entire wildlife experience, but there was no way we were letting this one completely ssslither past us!

Snakes are some of the most fascinating—and misunderstood—animals we work with. From tiny hognoses to giant pythons, each one plays an important role in helping us teach respect, responsible ownership, and appreciation for these incredible animals.

What species of snake would you be brave enough to meet at Critter Worx? 👀🐍

We’re also only about 50 followers away from 1,000, so tag your snake-loving friends and help us get there! 💚

A little over a week ago, we picked up the keys to Critter Worx... and it's finally starting to feel real. 🥹🔑❤️

After months of planning, hard work, and overcoming obstacle after obstacle, we're officially in the process of transforming our space at The Westgate Mall into an immersive, interactive Reptile and Animal experience for our community. Our goal is to open sometime in the beginning of August! (Stay tuned for Grand Opening Date)

But.. There's still so much to do, and we're looking for some donations to help bring our vision to life!

We're currently in need of:

🌿 Fake Faux Plants, Vines & flowers, Trees, greenery etc.

🪵 Wood/lumber & Building Materials

💡 Lights

🪑 Shelving, Stands & Display Pieces

🖼️ Picture Frames, Artwork, Rugs & Other Décor
