🔥 Did You Know? Sidewalks & pavement can burn your pet’s paws!
During the summer, pavement can get MUCH hotter than the outside temperature. If it’s too hot for your hand for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your pet’s paws. 🐶🐾
✅ Walk pets early morning or late evening
✅ Stick to grassy areas when possible
✅ Watch for limping or licking paws
Tip: Asphalt can reach dangerous temperatures quickly, even on “mild” summer days!

🐱 Make sure fresh water and shade are always available if spending time outside
🎆 If fireworks pop up early, keep anxious pets safely indoors and make sure tags/microchips are up to date
