❤️ FRED ASTAIRE NEEDS SOMEONE SPECIAL ❤️

Fred Astaire is a handsome approximately 5½-year-old Chihuahua who is hoping someone will look past his little quirks and see the wonderful dog underneath. 🐾

Fred was found as a stray, and we have no idea how he ended up alone or why someone would simply dump him. What we do know is that he deserves a second chance and a person who will take the time to understand him.

Fred is now neutered, fully up-to-date on his vaccines, and ready to find his forever home. He gets along with other dogs and doesn’t seem to care about cats. ❤️

Fred does have some boundaries. He doesn’t like being physically manhandled or forced to move or do something he isn’t comfortable with. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small children and with someone who understands that little dogs need patience, respect, consistency and time.

He is continuing to work on his training plan, and his perfect person will be willing to continue that work and build trust rather than expect Fred to change overnight. Once he knows he can trust you, that’s when the magic of a true second chance can begin. 🥹❤️

Fred doesn’t need someone looking for a perfect dog.

He needs someone willing to understand him.

Someone patient.
Someone kind.
Someone who will respect his boundaries.
Someone who will give him the time he needs to become the best version of himself.

Could that someone be you? 🐶❤️
Fred has already lost one home. Let’s make sure his next one is forever.

Say hello to your new best friend - BARRY! The cute little fellow is full of kitten charm & antics and will keep you entertained for hours. Barry is 8 weeks old and would love to have a furry feline friend in his new home to race around with.
