Do not just show up with cats in traps. We will have to turn you away and the chance of those cats going in a trap again is slim.

⭐️ Also... If you are planning to use our TNR services in the near future, please REGISTER and ATTEND the TNR class on August 3 in Cheboygan. Flyer is posted in the comments and on our page. We will add it to our website as well.

Just a reminder that we CANNOT accept walk-in or add-on patients unless they are cleared with reception prior to arrival. This includes bringing many pets when only a few are scheduled.

We do not have the staff or space to accommodate anything other than our scheduled appointments. We have never had walk-in availability. Appointments today ran nearly 2 hours longer than our normal business hours and caused supply shortages to our scheduled patients due to unplanned services. It was also disrespectful to scheduled patients who then had their time and schedules disrupted.

Please schedule for your needs in advance and be transparent about your concerns when scheduling to ensure your needs can properly be addressed within your appointment time. If a new concern appears, please inform us ahead of your arrival.

New Beginnings is not an urgent care or emergency provider, and pet owners should have a separate plan in case of a pet emergency.

A sign refusing walk-ins has been present in our front window with the scheduling phone number listed since we opened about a year ago and unfortunately it was disobeyed many times today.

Thank you to our clients for your understanding and patience today. It was a very trying day for all of us.

2 female Hound/Labrador Retriever mixes looking for new homes. They will be 2 years old in the fall. Their current owner is searching for a responsible new home or homes for them who will get their vaccines updated, get them spayed, and can support the care and needs of a large breed athletic dog. - Dr. Guy
