Reminder that I am a non-emergency wellness provider only. My services cannot and will not replace a full-service veterinarian for serious conditions. I can spay or neuter a cat, provide routine vaccines, or euthanize a pet, but I cannot take xrays, do dentistry, or manage advanced conditions. I've been overwhelmed by difficult cases I don't have the staff or equipment for lately and am exhausted by the ever growing expectations. Please utilize your primary vet, pay for their services and skill, and their ability to treat your pets because I simply can't do it all myself and with what minimal inventory I have.

I'll be reducing my capacity going forward to better focus on my shelter and TNR patients and the services I can comfortably offer. -Dr. Guy

‼️ This will be the last clinic to start core vaccinations because the October clinic will be our last low-cost vaccination clinic for the year and will be for rabies and/or core vaccination boosters only‼️

‼️As you leave our clinics, we provide you with information for purchasing a dog license. If attendees do not follow through and purchase a dog license, we may not continue to host these low-cost clinics. Revenue from the sale of dog licenses does help pay for Animal Control Shelter staff... the same staff that volunteer their time to make sure you have access to affordable vaccinations for your dog. Michigan Law requires all dogs be up to date with their rabies vaccination AND licensed. It's a $150 fine for unlicensed dogs in Alpena County. Help us help you‼️

Michigan Dog Law, which requires your dog(s) to be up to date with its rabies vaccination AND have a current year dog license. This is a wonderful opportunity ... don't miss out.

- NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES. Use a real leash that provides you control of your dog
- Puppies must be 16 weeks old or older for rabies vaccination. We will have puppy core vaccinations available.
- Will be a 1-year vaccines unless you provide proof of prior/current vaccination status to receive a 3-year vaccine.
- A rabies tag is NOT proof... you must provide a rabies certificate from previous vaccinations in order to get a 3-year vaccination this year or your dog will receive another 1-year vaccination.
- Must have proof of spay in order for us to indicate spayed on the rabies certificate.
- If receiving a core vaccination without proof of prior vaccination, you must attend the next month's vaccination clinic to booster it, or the first vaccination will not provide protection for your dog.

*** If you know your dog is aggressive, please leave your dog in your vehicle. We will vaccinate those dogs at the vehicle or make special arrangements to get them done.

We will be temporarily unavailable Thursday September 4th through Monday September 8th for Dr. Guy and Jordan to take some much-needed time off out-of-state. It's been an exciting (almost) year getting things going, but a stressful 24/7 process too.

If you have a veterinary emergency, please contact Thunder Bay Veterinary Urgent Care or your primary veterinarian for guidance. Responses to New Beginnings' messages, calls, or emails may be delayed.

Dog appointments, especially puppies or for vaccines, will continue to be curbside through the end of the month.

When you arrive, please stay in your car with your dog, and services will be rendered individually outside.

I have encountered parvovirus-positive animals during my work in our area this week and last, and have chosen to minimize the chance of dogs comingling in a shared space for the time being.

Please be mindful that your dog could be at risk where other dogs or their f***s are or have been and ensure they have been fully vaccinated if they are or will be exposed to other dogs.

Hello everybody! I have had a few people ask me if I have a business page, so I decided to make the jump and create one!

A little about me, my name is Abby Muller, I have worked at Huron Veterinary Clinic for 5 years as an assistant and recently decided to start up this side hustle to make your life a little easier!

I’ve seen first hand lots of pets that are scared of going to the vet or a groomers to get their nails trimmed. Lots of pets are way more comfortable in their own home, that’s why I’m here!

My trims start at $15 and depending on temperament or distance I have to travel, it goes up from there. I accept both cash and card! 💰 I also have done both dogs and cats and am willing to try other small animals as well! 🐶🐱🐰🐹

I typically do trimmings on Wednesdays. I will work around your schedule meaning I’ll come early morning or late evening! Shoot me a message when you see my posts that I am trimming around town and I’ll get you in!
