Today, October 27th, on Día de los Mu***os for Pets, we remember the beautiful souls who left paw prints on our hearts that time could never erase.

🌈 Today, we are remembering someone incredibly special to the Reborn Rescue family. Our sweet Cubby.

Cubby was the first dog from Reborn Rescue to cross the Rainbow Bridge, and his story is one that will forever live in our hearts.

Before rescue, Cubby endured a lifetime of suffering that no animal should ever have to experience.

❤️Cubby was RESCUED!

A wonderful family adopted him and gave him something he had waited his entire life for. A home where he was safe. A place where he belonged. And most importantly, people who loved him unconditionally.

To Cubby’s incredible family: There will never be enough words to express our gratitude for what you gave him. You didn’t just adopt a rescue dog. You took a broken little soul and showed him that the world could be gentle. You gave him soft places to sleep, loving hands to hold him, and a family to call his own. You made sure his final chapter was filled with everything his earlier chapters were missing. Love. Safety. Dignity. And belonging.

Please know that the greatest gift you gave Cubby wasn’t measured in dollars, treatments, or time. It was the beautiful truth that he left this world knowing he was someone’s whole world.

❤️ Meet our newest October intakes! ❤️
We're only halfway through October, and we've already welcomed 9 dogs into our rescue!
🚨 But here's the reality… WE NEED YOUR HELP TO KEEP SAYING YES!
🚨 WE DESPERATELY NEED IMMEDIATE FOSTERS! 🚨

Many people don't realize there's a big difference between a shelter and a rescue. Shelters typically have a facility where unowned dogs can stay while waiting for their forever homes.
🚨 When we agree to save a dog, we have just 24 HOURS to find them a home to go to!
❤️ Our rescue is foster-based. That means our facility is not a shelter full of kennels waiting for incoming dogs. We depend on foster homes to give these dogs a safe place to land.
💔 Without an available foster home, we simply cannot continue taking in dogs who desperately need us.
💔 And that's the hardest part of rescue… knowing a dog needs saving, but having nowhere for them to go.

🏠 YOU CAN BE THE REASON WE GET TO SAY YES! ❤️

Fostering doesn't have to mean a long-term commitment! Even if you can only provide a temporary safe place while we find a longer-term foster or foster-to-adopt home, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
