Brave is doing incredibly well in her return to the American Red Wolf habitat! Earlier this summer, she was injured after jumping and landing wrong on her right front leg. Based on her injury and research on similar cases in Red Wolves, her care team determined that the best option for her health and wellbeing was to amputate the leg.

You can watch Brave re-learn her habitat by visiting the Akron Zoo or watch her from the comfort of home on the American Red Wolf we**am on zoolife! 50% of the subscription proceeds directly fund fund wildlife conservation efforts by the Akron Zoo. Learn more: https://www.akronzoo.org/zoolife

Our white-face saki monkey infant continues to do well! Mom Clementine is a great mother and the infant is even hitting some milestones early, such as climbing on mom's back!

We still don't know the s*x of the infant, but we hope to know soon!

You can meet our enture saki family, including dad Toumi and big sister Ripley, in the Tom and Shelley Koutnik Primate Passage daily!
