We aim for all of our patients to be this happy when they come back to see us!

You might think a visit for a stitch removal would have a pup feeling a little nervous, Buttons proved us completely wrong with her tail was a non-stop blur of pure joy while she is with our team.

There is truly nothing more rewarding for our team than seeing our patients walk in and out with so much confidence. It's a beautiful reminder that healing is all about making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved every step of the way. Have a wagging great week ahead, humans!

Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month

Our treatment areas are tidy and organised because of our vet nurses. The patient is warm and clean because of our vet nurses. It takes a team of vet nurses to take a patient through a CT scan – one to prepare patient for anaesthesia with the vet, one to two to place the patient on the table, another one to run the CT machine and then another to recover them in wards to make sure they are safely awake and warm. Our pawrents who need reassurance are soothed by our nurses. They are educated on how to care for their pets by our vet nurses.

Our nurses are the backbone of a lot of the work, care and compassion that happen everyday. Being a veterinary nurse is a journey of immense dedication. Our nurses show up because they believe in the welfare of every animal in their care.

At Landon Veterinary Specialist Hospital | Pet A&E, we celebrate these hands that hold the paws and these hearts that stay the course, all day, all night. Thank you for being the best colleagues one can ask for.

A milestone worth celebrating!

Please join us in wishing Oliver a very happy 21st Birthday!

Oliver is a patient with our Internal Medicine team, where he is undergoing chemotherapy for intestinal plasmacytoma and tarsal lymphoma. His resilience throughout his treatment is truly inspiring, and we have the utmost respect for the dedication and strength shown by his family every step of the way.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Oliver’s owner for the thoughtful gifts and for her kind feedback. They shared that Oliver’s continued journey is a testament to the care provided by Dr Nathalee Prakash, Emma, and our team here at Landon Veterinary Specialist Hospital | Pet A&E.

It is a privilege to be a part of Oliver’s journey to provide the support and care he requires. Happy Birthday, Oliver!

Today is a big day for Moo Moo. After staying with us for a while, he’s heading back to foster care to continue his search for a forever home.

The bond he formed with our team is so special that Nurse Raya even dropped by on her day off just to give him one last cuddle. Throughout his stay, Moo Moo was our unofficial supervisor, always chatty, always friendly, and never shy about offering his input while we worked. Raya spent many long night shifts during his stay with us, and seeing him on her lap today is the perfect send off. We hope you find a good home, Moo Moo!
